Bang & Olufsen will launch its latest addition to the BeoVision8 series of LCD TVs. This 40-inch LCD features a 100hz refresh rate, 1920×1080 resolution, 6ms response time, 3000:1 contrast ratio, 500 cd/m2 brightness and an anti-glare screen. Bang & Olufsen has introduced their A8 headphones. This wearable device is made from anodised aluminum and hard rubber giving them both flexibility and durability. The A8 also come with the specially designed leather carrying case and two meters of extension cord. It is currently available in green, orange, yellow, and white. [Bang & Olufsen]
Bang & Olufsen, the maker of very expensive gadgets, has unveiled the new BeoSound 5. It is a control interface for your home media system, which is designed for ease of use without much of complexity. There is no further info about this gadget. We will keep you posted. [Engadget]
The Pinel Pinel’s Movie trunk is a portable home theater system that consists of a Bang & Olufsen Beolab 6000 subwoofer, two Beolab 3 speakers, BeoVision 6-26 television, and the DVD1 DVD/CD player. You can change its color because there are 51 vibrant leathers with nickel plated brass hardware that you can choose to cover this movie trunk. If you’re rich, so you can buy this new 24ct gold cordless phone. Bang & Olufsen and the Goldstriker International have joined to release the 24ct gold edition of the Beocom 4 cordless telephone. The handset will be available in January 2008 for approximately $1439.
The BeoSound 6 from Bang & Olufsen features a stainless steel frame, a black soft-touch lacquered surface and a 128 x 160 pixel scratch-resistant glass display. the Beosound 6 does not use SD cards but relies on an internal memory of 4Gb. The company claims that the BeoSound 6 provides a “very clear and pure CD sound quality, due to its high performance on signal to noise playback”. Priced at around $600, this iPod competitor offers 40 hours of playback. Here is the list of BeoSound 6 specs.

Bang & Olufsen has introduced a new Digital Audio Player called the Beosound 6. The gadget comes with a candy-bar shaped with stripped-down controls and a thin LCD display. It features a standard MP3 / WMA playback, 4GB of flash memory, a 65K color LCD screen, and USB connectivity. The player will also be accompanied by a leather case and the company’s A8 earphones. Bang & Olufsen Beosound 6 will retail for around $812. If you’re looking for value, look elsewhere because the $800+ price tag won’t give you a lot of bang for your buck (4GB?). This gadget is mostly for status.
Bang & Olufsen’s Earset 2 offers both Bluetooth and Digital Signal Processing noise cancellation technology into a beautifully crafted headset. Weighing at just 22grams, it provides up to 4 hours of talk time. Other features include a couple of omni-directional microphones located on a folding microphone arm for utter class. The headset retails for $420 each.
