
Duracell will launch the Duracell PowerCheck Batteries worldwide. In case you didn’t know, this AA battery has been released in the US market in the late spring of 1996. The battery comes with the Powercheck, which is a gauge located on the battery that can be activated by simply pressing two white dots on the cell. Sanyo has proudly introduced the newly upgraded Eneloop batteries that are able to be recharged around 1,500 times. Toshiba has announced the release of their super charge ion batteries aka SCiB. This lithium-ion based battery features charge-up time of a only 5 minutes, translating into a 90% capacity. It also has a life span of over 10 years according to Toshiba. While Energizer might be big out there, Toshiba is moving on up and can’t compare to those other mediocre brands out there.
