M2E Power has created a concept of a rechargeable phone battery that can be charge with kinetic energy. These batteries cost around the same to produce as current batteries, even using less metals. M2E Power announced that devices with kinetic batteries will be seen by 2010. In case you didn’t know, kinetic energy is electricity produced by natural motions such as when moving your hands, etc.

Battery chargers are more of a nuisance than anything because most of them require an extension cords, battery packs, and charger units.
