
BeamBox has recently introduced their new universal charger that comes with interchangeable US, UK, Australian and European plug adapters. Dubbed as the MiLi, this palm size charger also features a flip-out in-car plug and two USB ports with charge level indicating LED’s, where 5V/500mA of juice is provided to both sockets. The device works nicely with both 12-24V DC power and 100-240V AC power and for added safety, there’s also over-current and short-circuit protection. The BeamBox Essential G2 is a must have pocket projector for professionals who are always on the go. Weighing at only 75-grams, the G2 features a 640 x 480 LCoS chip with a LED bulb that produces at around 20 lumens. The LED bulb will last for 30000 hours. The mini projector draws its power from USB 2.0 port, and also outputs images from the computer via the same USB 2.0 port. You can use the G2 either as a primary monitor, or in extended mirror mode. It also functions as a flash memory device due to its 1GB storage space. Each purchase comes with a remote control, a mini tripod, and the driver software. UK company Beambox has released their latest pocket sized projector known as the Evolution R-1 Pico Projector. The device is capable of displaying images at a resolution of 640×480 pixels and has a brightness level of 30 lumens. Other features include 1GB of internal memory, microSD card slot and a built-in rechargeable battery that lasts up to 90 minutes playback.
