
BenQ comes back to the e-Book market by releasing the nReader K60. Measuring 175mm x 122mm x 11mm and weights at just 220 grams, the gadget has a 6-inch touchscreen e-paper display that uses SiPix Microcup technology to produce a native resolution of 800 x 600 pixels with 167 dots-per-inch and 16 grey scales. The nReader K60 provides a 2GB of storage space, which is enough to hold around 4000 books and a microSD card slot (up to 16GB) for more storage space. Additional features include WiFi, a mini USB port, a USB 2.0 port and a 3.5mm audio jack. The device supports a wide range of file formats including ePub, PDF, TXT, HTML, JPEG, BMP, GIF, PNG, and MP3. No word on pricing so far. [Pocket-lint]

BenQ has added a new LED display to its range by releasing the G922HDL, the world’s first 18.5-inch LED backlight LCD display. This widescreen monitor offers 1366 x 768 WXGA resolution, a dynamic contrast ratio of 5 million:1 and comes with the Eco Mode feature. It also adopts BenQ’s patented Senseye 3 Human Vision Technology offering one touch optimization of image richness, clarity and depth using preset modes calibrated to specific applications and comes with both D-Sub and DVI inputs. BenQ has announced two new CULV laptop namely the Joybook S35 and Joybook S43. The former has a 13.3-inch LCD display with an Intel GMA4500HD graphics, while the latter provides a 14-inch LCD screen with an ATI Mobility Radeon HD4300 graphics. Both notebooks come jam packed with feature a CULV CPU (Consumer Ultra Low Voltage) which comes in different CPU flavors including a 1.4GHz Core 2 Solo, a 1.2GHz Celeron 732, a 1.3GHz Core 2 Duo SU7300 and a 1.3GHz Celeron 743. BenQ has recently unveiled their upcoming 27-inch LCD monitor ‘M2700HDS’ during a press event in Japan. This new widescreen monitor offers a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 5ms response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness and four 2.5W built-in speakers. It also comes with several connectivity ports including USB, D-Sub, DVI and two HDMI. The M2700HDS will become available later this year for unannounced price yet. [TCMagazine]

BenQ will release the world’s first 21.5-inch LED widescreen, namely the Full HD 1080p V2200 Eco. The monitor adopts LED (light-emitting diode) technology that enables an ultra-high dynamic contrast ratio of 5 million:1 for intense blacks and extreme whites. This technology also produces fine details and near-infinite color variations, meanwhile BenQ’s Senseye 3 Human Vision technology provides image richness, clarity, and depth. BenQ Taiwan has added two new LCD monitors to its E-series with the introduction of E2220HD (21.5-inch) and E2420HD (24-inch). These widescreen monitors are equipped with the all new SensEye 3 technology, an auto-calibration sensor that will give you the perfect contrast, color and brightness based on your surrounding, and feature a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 300 cd/m2 brightness and 1000:1 contrast ratio. The BenQ Joybook Lite U102 is the company’s latest netbook computer which is designed specially for students and mobile professionals. This portable mini laptop is powered by an Intel Atom N270/N280 processor and features a 10.1-inch WSVGA LED backlit display with 1024 x 600 resolution, a 1GB RAM, a 250GB HDD, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, 3G, WiFi, a 4-in-1 card reader, 3x USB ports and Windows XP OS. BenQ has introduced a new netbook to its range in the form of the Joybook Lite U121 Eco that sports an 11.6-inch display with 1366 x 768 pixel. This mini-laptop is equipped with a low power Intel Atom Z520/Z530 processor, a Mobile Intel Polsbo US15W Express chipset, an Intel GMA500 graphics, a full sized keyboard, up to 500GB HDD, up to 32GB SSD, an Ethernet port, 3 USB ports, optional Bluetooth and HSUPA connectivities, a choice of either Windows XP home or Linpus Linux Lite OS and a 3 cell battery. BenQ today unveiled two members of its popular C series digicam with the launch of the 10MP DC C1020 and the 12MP DC C1220. Both cameras feature a 3x optical zoom, Super-Shake-Free mode with high-ISO supported, Smile Catch mode and video recording with optical zoom at a resolution of 16:9 (720×400) with 30 frames per second.
