
BenQ has announced the successor to its nReader K60 e-Book reader by launching the nReader K61. Unlike its predecessor, this new model comes with 3G connection. Not only that, the device also sports a 6-inch 800 x 600 capacitive touchscreen Sipix display with 167 dpi and 16 grayscale, a 2GB of internal memory, an SD card slot (up to 16GB), WiFi, a mini-USB port, a 3.5mm headset jack, a 1480mAh battery and supports a wide range of file formats including ePub, PDF, HTML, TXT, DOC, EBI, JPG, BMP, PNG, GIF as well as MP3. BenQ is gearing up to unleash another LED-backlit monitor into the market in the form of the BL2400PT. Featuring an anti-glare VA (Vertical Alignment) panel, this new 24-inch widescreen monitor provides 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 3000:1 (20,000,000:1 DCR) contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness and 8ms GTG response time. Already launched in Japan, BenQ’s newest Full HD monitor ‘VW2420H’ will soon make its way to Europe. In case you didn’t know, this new 24-inch LED-backlight monitor makes use of a Vertical Alignment (VA) panel and delivers 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 3000:1 (20,000,000:1 DCR) contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness and 8ms GTG response time. BenQ has come out with another 3D-ready gaming monitor called the XL2410T. This new 23.6-inch LED-backlit monitor delivers 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 2ms response time, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 10,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 120Hz refresh rate and supports for NVIDIA’s 3D Vision technology. BenQ has showed off their first Android tablet during this week BenQ’s Global Distributors Meeting in Taiwan. Called the nReader R100, the device packs a 667MHz Samsung ARM-based CPU, 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 resistive touchscreen display, a 4GB of flash storage, an SD/SDHC/SDXC card slot, 3G, WiFi, an HDMI port, a 12-hour battery and runs on Android 2.2 OS. A new 20-inch LED-backlit monitor ‘GL2030M’ from BenQ has recently entered the Russian market. Adopting BenQ’s own Senseye 3 technology, this widescreen monitor supports a native resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness and 5ms response time. BenQ has annouched the availability of the V2420HP in the Japanese market. This 24-inch LED monitor adopts the BenQ Senseye3 technology to produce a stunning image quality in an ultra-slim 15mm bezel. The BenQ V2420HP boasts a DCR (Dynamic Contrast Ratio) up to 1,000,000:1, a 5ms response time, an HDMI out, RGB and DVI-D (HDCP). No word on pricing so far. [Akihabara]

Already available in other countries, BenQ’s latest Full HD DLP projector ‘W6000′ will finally make its way to Japanese market starting next week. In case you didn’t know, the W6000 provides 1920 x 1080p Full HD resolution, 2500 ANSI lumens brightness, 50,000:1 contrast ratio and up to 3000 hours of lamp life (in Eco mode). BenQ has just announced their new EW and VW series Vertical alignment monitors which are said to be the first of their kind in the world. Their VA LED panels should offer superior color reproduction, an ultra high contrast ratio, the ability to display blacks more accurately and the ability to minimize light leakage as well. These monitors will be targeted towards digital video enthusiasts because of its wider range of ports to enhance viewing. They will all feature DVI, D-Sub, HDMI and headphone connectivity options. BenQ is about to launch a new DLP projector into the market in the form of the MP780 ST. Aimed specifically at educational market, the MP780 ST provides 1280 x 800 native resolution, 2500 ANSI lumens brightness and 3000:1 contrast ratio. In terms of connectivity ports, it offers D-Sub, S-Video, Stereo Mini Jack, USB and HDMI, and comes equipped with two 10W stereo speakers. The BenQ MP780 ST will become available in July for $2,099.
