BenQ has entered the LED-backlit LCD TV market by releasing the 42-inch XT4242. Measuring 4cm thick, this LED-backlit LCD TV provides a Full HD resolution and a 120MHz video technology. The BenQ XT4242 also consumes less power than its competitor thanks to the LED-backlight technology. What’s more, the BenQ XT4242 provides four HDMI-in ports (two on the back and two on the side), a single USB port, one VGA port, audio in/SPDIF out ports and A/V connectors. BenQ has officially announced the nReader K60 e-book reader during Computex Taipei 2010. Measuring 175mm x 122mm x 11mm and weighting at 220 grams, the gadget has a 6-inch touchscreen e-paper display that uses SiPix Microcup technology to produce a native resolution of 800 x 600 pixels with 167 dots-per-inch and 16 grey scales. The nReader K60 also provides a 2GB of storage space, which is enough to hold around 4000 books and a microSD card slot (up to 16GB) for more storage space. Additional features include WiFi, a mini USB port, a USB 2.0 port and a 3.5mm audio jack. These new 18.5-inch widescreen monitors support a native resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and provide 200 cd/m2 brightness, 4,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 5ms response time and consume just 23W during normal operation.
