BenQ XT4242 42-inch LED-backlit LCD TV Released In Taiwan

BenQ has entered the LED-backlit LCD TV market by releasing the 42-inch XT4242. Measuring 4cm thick, this LED-backlit LCD TV provides a Full HD resolution and a 120MHz video technology. The BenQ XT4242 also consumes less power than its competitor thanks to the LED-backlight technology. What’s more, the BenQ XT4242 provides four HDMI-in ports (two on the back and two on the side), a single USB port, one VGA port, audio in/SPDIF out ports and A/V connectors. It has a built-in ambient light sensor, which adjusts the screen’s brightness automatically according to the amount of ambient light in its surroundings. The BenQ XT4242 is priced at $1,355. [ITOC]

BenQ K60 e-book Reader Is Now Official

BenQ has officially announced the nReader K60 e-book reader during Computex Taipei 2010. Measuring 175mm x 122mm x 11mm and weighting at 220 grams, the gadget has a 6-inch touchscreen e-paper display that uses SiPix Microcup technology to produce a native resolution of 800 x 600 pixels with 167 dots-per-inch and 16 grey scales. The nReader K60 also provides a 2GB of storage space, which is enough to hold around 4000 books and a microSD card slot (up to 16GB) for more storage space. Additional features include WiFi, a mini USB port, a USB 2.0 port and a 3.5mm audio jack. The device supports a wide range of file formats including ePub, PDF, TXT, HTML, JPEG, BMP, GIF, PNG, and MP3. Its battery provides up to two weeks of standby time. [AVING]

BenQ has once again expanded its G series LCD monitor line-up by bringing you the G2025HD and G2025HDA. Adopting BenQ’s own Senseye+PhotoImage Technology, both of these 20-inch widescreen monitors support a native resolution of up to 1600 x 900 pixels, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 40,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 5ms response time and come with both D-Sub and DVI-D (G2025HD) connectors.
