Based on Intel Z77 chipset, the board supports for Intel’s latest Ivy Bridge processors and features four DDR3 memory slots (dual-channel, DDR3-2400) and three PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots. Biostar hits back by bringing you their newest micro-ATX AM3 motherboard called the A880G+. This AMD 880G/SB710-based motherboard supports for AM3 processors (Phenom II, Athlon II), and features an integrated ATI Radeon HD 4250 graphics card, two DDR3-1333 memory slots and one PCI-Express x16 slot. In terms of connectivity ports, it offers four SATA 3.0 Gbps, Gigabit Ethernet, IDE, 5.1 channel audio, D-Sub, DVI and HDMI. Here’s another upcoming AMD 890GX-based motherboard from Biostar, the TA890FXE. This new ATX board supports for AM3, Athlon II and Phenom II processors, and features a 6 phase power design, four DDR3-1800 memory slots, four PCI-Express x16 slots for CrossFireX configuration and uses the BIO-unlocking technology for unlocking processor cores. In terms of connectivity ports, it offers five SATA 6.0 Gbps, eSATA, Gigabit Ethernet, 7.1 channel audio and FireWire. Biostar today introduced the successor to the P35 motherboard by releasing the new P45 series. This motherboard comes with a faster Front Side Bus (FSB), an easy setup for both Crossfire and SLI configurations and support for faster memory. There are also six SATA connectors and 10 USB ports.
