Sharp has recently released a couple of Blu-Ray recorders namely the BD-HDW55 and BD-HDW53. The former comes equipped with a 500GB of HDD, while the latter has a smaller 320GB of HDD. Both Blu-ray recorders offer 10x more recording time compared with the usual DR recording method. The Sharp Aquos BD-HDW55 with a 500GB HDD provides up to 63-hour of HD video recording, while the 50GB Blu-ray disc supports only 6-hour of HD video. Unfortunately, there is no info on pricing of these Blu-ray recorders. Stay tuned for more updates. [Sharp]
