
Folks in Japan will receive the latest Blu-ray HDD combo from Sharp. The BD-HDS43 is a mid-level Blu-ray player that boasts a single digital and analog TV tuner, a 320GB of HDD and the capacity to record in dual layer Blu-Ray disc. The Sharp BD-HDS43 is priced at around 85000 Yen ($942). [Sharp]

If you want to convert all of your old VHS tapes collection into Blu-ray files, then you might need the new JVC DR-BH250 DVR. The gadget features a 250GB hard drive, a Blu-ray recorder and a VHS player. Additional features include a memory card slot, a USB port and support for AVCHD. Buffalo is preparing to release another external Blu-ray writer namely the BR-X816U2. Weighing just 1.3kg, the drive offers a USB 2.0 interface, a 4MB cache memory and has the ability to write BD-R/-R DL at 8x, BD-RE/-RE DL at 2x, DVD-R/+R at 16x, DVD+RW at 8x, DVD-RW at 6x, DVD-RAM at 5x, DVD-R/+R DL at 4x, CD-R at 32x and CD-RW at 24x. The burner is also bundled with CyberLink’s PowerDirector 7, PowerProducer 5, PowerDVD 8, Power2Go 6, PowerBackup 2, InstantBurn 5, and MediaShow 4. The Samsung HT-BD3252 is the company’s latest Blu-ray home theater system that offers a total output power of 1000 watts. This 5.1-channel system comes with rear wireless speakers and supports all the latest high definition audio and video codecs including Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro-Logic II, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Digital TrueHD as well as DTS-HD Master Audio. LG is set to launch another 2-in-1 gadget namely the HR400. The HR400 combines a Blu-ray DVD player with a Freeview receiver into one package and features a built-in 160GB hard drive. It can receive over 40 of your choosen channels and allow you to record any of your favourite Freeview TV shows directly onto its hard drive. The Blu-ray itself is 1080p full HD, meaning it will automatically upscale your DVD’s video and audio qualities. Not to mention, the HR400 also comes with YouTube feature, allowing you to stream YouTube videos without even being connected to a computer. LG Korea has added a new Blu-Ray 5.1 Home Theater combo to their range with the introduction of the HB954TBW that comes equipped with an iPod dock. Unfortunately, there’s not much information given at the moment, but from what we heard this iPod dock will accept all iPod models allowing you to listen to any song within your devices. The Harman Kardon BDP 10 is a Profile 2.0 Blu-ray player that comes with the standard Blu-ray capabilities such as BD Live, 1080p at 24fps, advanced audio codecs support, and front-mounted USB port. Panasonic has rolled out two in-dash mountable devices for your car in the form of the CN-HX3000D and the CY-BB1000D. The first device is a Windows-powered GPS that sports a 7-inch LCD screen with 1280 x 720 resolution. It comes equipped with a CD / DVD player, a One-Seg tuner, a 40GB hard drive, a 5 channel amplifier, Bluetooth and an iPhone / iPod compatibility.
