The highly anticipated Yamaha’s new BD2900 Blu-ray player has been unveiled. The new Blu-ray player offers “BonusView” and supports for 1080p/24fps-compatible HDMI, and 12-bit Deep Color. Hitachi DZ-BD10HA Blu-ray camcorder

Hitachi has recently announced the world’s first Blu-Ray Camcorder DZ-BD10HA. This camcorder has the flexibility to record HD video onto three different formats (Blu-ray Disc, Hard Drive, SDHC). The camcorder is also capable of capturing 6.22 mega pixel stills onto an optional SD or SDHC card. Its Face Detection feature automatically detects and focuses on the face to provide true-to-life color accuracy. With the push of one button the user can transfer HD video from the SDHC card or hard drive to a Blu-ray disc all within the camcorder; without having to use PC at all. Samsung Cheapest Blu-Ray Home Theatre

Samsung has now announced budget version of its earlier Blu-ray Home Theatre System. HT-BD2E comes with 5.1 Channel System, 800 watts of total power. It has four satellite speakers, one center speaker and a passive subwoofer. Priced at $800, at almost half their first Blu-ray Home Theatre System HT-BD2T. Expected to ship in August. [BLU-RAY]

Pioneer Releases Several New Blu-ray Player in Europe

Pioneer will be dropping several Blu-ray players in Europes. The first being the 2.0-compliant BDP-LX91, Designer BDP-LX08 and BDP-LX71 and the BDP-51FD. All feature 1080p24 support, HDMI 12-Bit Deep Color support, KURO LINK, DTS-HD Master Audio / Dolby True HD compatibility and professional-quality Wolfson Digital Audio Converters (DACs). Ni word on prices for any of them. However, the BDP-LX71 is said to drop in September, the BDP-51FD / BDP-LX08 in October and the BDP-LX91 sometime in the Winter. [Engadget]

Panasonic has announced its first stand alone Blu-Ray Disc Recorder, the DMR-BW500. The DMR-BW500i can record up to 72 hours of Full High Definition 1080p recording onto the built in 500GB Hard Disk Drive (HDD) or 6 hours 40 min on a 50GB double layer Blu-ray Disc. In addition to video, it can record 5.1-channel Dolby Digital surround sound broadcasts and Blu-ray movies are played in studio-master quality at a frame rate of 24 frames per second. The new line of DVD and Blu-ray recorders and players are currently only available only in Japan but will be available in other markets in August. [panasonic]

LG Releases 6x Blu-ray burners

LG has finally released there three 6x Blu-ray burners including the BE06 (pictured), GBC-H20L and GBW-H20L. All three feature SecurDisc capabilities and LightScribe technology, external USB 2.0 for BE06 for about $379.95, GBC-H20L and GBW-H20L go for about $199.95 / $279.97 as of right now. [Engadget]

Hitachi Wooo DV-BH250 Blu-Ray Player

The latest Blu-Ray Recorder from Hitachi, the Wooo DV-BH250, will be available in June this year. The player has 250GB of HDD, HDMI output. The device is compatible with AVCREC, which means this player is able to record HD video on DVD-R/RW/RAM formats besides the BD-R/RE formats. [Akihabara]

LG Drops World\'s Fastest Blu-ray Rewriter

LG Electronics in the Middle East has released the Super Multi Blue Blu-ray Disc Rewriter called the BE06 known as the fastest rewriter that reads and writes Blu-ray at 6x. It’s targeted for laptop users or anybody with multiple PCs connecting USB 2.0 and a DC power connector. The rewriter also has Optical Pickup Technology that supports Blu-ray disc write/playback, HD-DVD playback, and DVD/CD write playback. You can get one of these babies for $549. Unfortunately there is no word on when it will be dropping in the U.S. [BlurayDar]
