Jabra will release its latest Bluetooth headset, the Jabra Supreme. This mono headset features the Active Noise Cancellation technology that actively reduces background noise during a phone call. Jawbone has unveiled its new Icon HD Bluetooth headset. This wearable device features a large 10mm wideband speaker, which is 25% larger than the one found in the original Icon for improved sonic performance. The Bluetooth headset comes equipped with the Nerd USB-based add-on that allows Icon HD users to make VoIP calls from a PC or Mac. The Icon HD also adopts the NoiseAssassin 2.5 noise cancellation technology, AVRCP play and pause controls, on-screen battery status indication on the iPhone, seven included earbuds for a precise fit, and compatibility with the company’s MyTALK apps. Nokia will launch the BH-112 wireless Bluetooth headset in Europe. Available in blue, purple, green, black, and white, the gadget is compatible with any Bluetooth-enabled smartphones. In addition, the Nokia BH-112 is capable of supporting multipoint connections. Its battery provides enough juice for up to 5-hour of talk time, or up to 150-hour of standby time. Measuring 40mm x 20mm x 25mm and weighing at just 8.1 grams, the Nokia BH-112 Bluetooth headset will be launched in mid-September 2011 for €24 or approx. $34 each. [Nokia Conversation]
Elecom and Logitec have joined together to release two new Bluetooth headphones in Japan. Known as the LBT-TVOH02ABK and LBT-TVSP100BK, both Bluetooth headphones are compatible with any Bluetooth-enabled devices. The audio can be transmitted wirelessly at distances up to 10-meter. Elecom Japan has released a couple of new Bluetooth QWERTY keyboards namely the TK-FBP018 and TK-FBP019. The Elecom TK-FBP018 is designed for Android devices, while the Elecom TK-FBP019 for iOS devices. Both models are also fully compatible with any PC, Mac, or Linux PCs, as well as the Sony PlayStation 3 console. Amazon has started selling the Jabra DRIVE Bluetooth in-car speakerphone. The device connects to up to two devices (such as a phone and GPS unit) and requires no setup, allowing drivers and passengers to stay in touch with family and friends while on the road. The Jabra DRIVE also features a voice guidance system that announces battery level and Bluetooth connectivity. Its battery provides up to 20-hour of talk time or 30 days of standby time. Grundig will release the Digta 7 Premium BT dictation device later this month. It is known as the world’s first dictation device with a built-in Bluetooth module. You can use the Grundig Digta 7 Premium BT to send a dictation via Bluetooth directly from the dictation device to a BlackBerry for automatic transfer, or to a Bluetooth-enabled PC.
