
Bang & Olufsen has unveiled the BeoVision 7-40 3D TV with an integrated Blu-ray player . The 3D TV uses two-sided edge-type LED backlighting with 1.5D local dimming, which improves the contrast level.What’s more, the BeoVision 7-40 also supports a maximum refresh rate of 240Hz and provides a 450 cd/m2 of brightness (measured at the center of the screen). Additional features include a motorized stand, a built-in sensor which measures ambient light, a built-in digital surround sound module, a wide series of video inputs, and support for the Beo6 remote. Toshiba has unveiled the new Regza Blu-ray DBR-M190 at CEATEC 2011 in Japan. This eight-tuner Toshiba PVR comes equipped with a huge 5TB hard disk drive, allowing you to record up to six digital broadcasts for up to 15-day. The Toshiba Regza Blu-ray DBR-M190 will be available for the Japanese customers in December 2011 for 200,000 Yen or around $2,600. [Electronista]

The new Onkyo BD-SP809 plays every format you require in today’s world including CDs, DVDs, and Blu-ray discs. The player comes complete with 3D capabilities and a THX Blu-ray certification. Samsung has finally launched the BD-D7000 3D Blu-ray player in South Korea. This portable Blu-ray player has a slot-loading disc drive with touch-sensitive buttons at the front. The BD-D7000 upconverts 2D Blu-ray titles to near 3D image quality. In order to view movies in 3D, you need to connect a 3D-compliant AV receiver and a 3D-compliant TV to the player using HDMI cables, and play the 3D content while wearing 3D glasses. Amazon has started selling the Samsung BD-D6500 3D Blu-ray disc player. Introduced for the first time at CES 2011, the Samsung BD-D6500 is a slot-in type Blu-ray player that comes with DLNA support, Smart Hub, SNS and a built-in Wi-Fi. The player is priced at $209.95 a pop. [Amazon]

The Sharp BD-HDS63 is the latest entry level Blu-Ray player for the Japanese market. Priced at 75,000 Yen or around $905, the BD-HDS63 comes with a 320GB HDD, 3D Blu-Ray compatible and a digital TV tuner with BS/CS and SKYPerfecTV support. Audiovox’s new Automotive Blu-ray DVD player, AVDBR1, allows you to enjoy high definition movies on-the-go. The Samsung BD-D7500 is known as the world’s sllimmest Blu-ray disc player that measures at only 0.9-inch thick.
