
Panasonic comes back with two internet-enabled Blu-ray players that allows users to maximize their enjoyment out of BD Live-enabled discs. The Panasonic DMP-BD80 and DMP-BD60 also allows users to view YouTube videos and Picasa images on their HDTVs. The DMP-BD80 focuses more on sound quality, meanwhile the DMP-BD60 offer basic functions. Both Blu-ray players feature High-definition Audio Decoder (Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio Essential), PHL Reference Chroma Processor Plus technology, 1080p Up-Conversion, SD memory card slot, and USB port. LG Electronics and NEtFlix today unveiled the new Blu-Ray disc player that is able to stream movies and TV episodes from Netflix directly to the TV. The player plays high definition Blu-ray discs and able to upscale DVDs to 1080p resolution. In addition, the new LG BD300 also adopts LG’s SimpLink technology, which allows users to control similarly equipped LG TV and AV products via on-screen menus.
