
AppleInsider has received unconfirmed information from several sources about Apple’s next iMac revision, which is expected to be available next year. According to the new information, Apple will use Intel Core i7 “Clarksfield” mobile processors and Blu-ray drives in the next-generation iMac. You can now pre-order the Sony VAIO L all-in-one PC with a 24-inch 1080p LCD display. The computer is powered by a 2.7GHz Intel Pentium Dual Core CPU, an nVidia GeForce G210M graphics, a 4GB of RAM, a 320GB display and a DVD burner. The Sony VAIO L is also available in a higher-end model that comes equipped with a 2.66GHz Core 2 Quad processor, a 1TB of storage, a Blu-Ray drive, and an integrated ATSC tuner. Dell has recently rolled out the Vostro 430 high-end desktop PC, which is powered by either Intel Core i5 or Core i7 processors. The computer comes bundled with a video conferencing software and supports dual display and multi-touch technology, up to 16GB of DDR3 SDRAM, up to 2TB of storage capacity, an optional Blu-ray drive, a 19-in-1 memory card reader, two PS/2 and serial ports to support your older devices and 10 USB ports. Pioneer has proudly introduced this morning the BDR-S05J-BK, which is the first BD burner that supports the 12x recording with selected BD-R SL and DL media (6x- certified). The SATA drive also supports 6x recording with BD-R LTH discs, 2x with BD-RE/RE DL, 16x with DVD±R, 8x with DVD±R DL and DVD±RW discs, 40x with CD-R 40 X speed and finally 24x with CD-RW discs. LG Electronics today unveiled its new WIDEBOOK notebook range that provides an extreme entertainment experience to consumers. The LG WIDEBOOK range consists of five models including the R580, R560, R480, R460 and R380. Each models features an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, an SRS TruSurround HD sound, and a wide 16:9 HD LED-backlit display, which is optimized for HD content and provides in 1600 x 900 and 1368 x 768 HD pixel resolutions, depending on the model.
The R580 and R560 boast a 15.6-inch display, while the R480 and R460 feature a 14-inch screen. The R380 is a smaller model that comes with a 13.3-inch panel. The R580 and R480 are positioned as premium models and sport a stylish design, while the R560 and R460 are reliable everyday workhorses and the R380 offers a blend of performance at an affordable price. Here is good news for those who are living in the States because Onkyo has finally launched its latest Blu-ray player in the US market. Known as the DV-BD507, the player supports Deep Color and x.v. color specifications of HDMI 1.3a and can play AVCHD video files stored on SD/SDHC card or DVD-R/RW dics. Wal-Mart has just lowered the price of the Magnavox NB530MGX Blu-ray player down to $98, which is a rollback from the previous price of $168. Although it is checp, the Blu-ray player still supports full 1080p resolution video, an HDMI 1.3 connection, and true 24fps playback. [EngadgetHD]
