The DMP-B15 provides around 2.5 hours of crystal clear entertainment per charge on a 8.9-inch WSVGA display. Denon comes back with two Blu-ray players for the mass market. Known as the Denon DBP-2010CI and DBP-1610CI, these players feature Ethernet connectivity for BD-Live and firmware updates, DivX and AVCHD playback, Bitstream Dolby TrueHD and DTS HD Master Audio. Unfortunately, they don’t have Wi-Fi or any streaming video applications such as Netflix or Amazon VOD. The Denon DBP-2010CI and DBP-1610CI retail for $700 and $500, respectively. [Gizmodo]
The Samsung BD-P4600, debuted earlier this year at CES, is now available to the South Korean market. The player is claimed to be the world slimmest Blu-Ray player from Samsung, supporting BD-Live 2.0, DVD upscalling, DivX, Wi-Fi, 1GB of internal memory, and USB 2.0. Unfortunately, there is no info on pricing so far but looking at the smile on the girl’s face I suspect it will be expensive. [Akihabara]

The BDZ-A750 (320GB) and the BDZ-A950 (500GB) are Sony’s latest Blu-ray burner player and HDD video recorder combos. These recorders are able to stream and download videos from either Tsutaya TV and acTVila VOD service in Japan and forward these contents directly to a Sony PSP or a Sony compatible DAP via USB port. Sharp has recently unveiled a new Blu-ray DVR range, with a high-end BD-HDW40 comes with a 1TB hard drive and Blu-ray recorder capability. The new Sharp Blu-ray DVR range includes four models, three of which, the HDW40, HDW35 and HDW32 feature two digital TV tuners, 1080p output, Blu-ray playback and recording with BD-Live, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio and compression to fit up to 30 hours of HD telly per Blu-ray disc. The low end Sharp BD-HDS32 has only a built-in 320GB hard drive. The entire range will be released in Japan this coming March 27th. [Impress]
You can now watch high-definition movies on the go with the Panasonic Viera DMP-BV100. This portable digital TV receiver comes with a built in Blu-ray player and has an 8.9-inch TFT screen with a 1024×600-pixel resolution. Its TV receiver also allows you to watch your favorite channels digitally. Other features include HDMI plug to connect it to a larger screen, and an Ethernet connection. Its battery provides enough juice for up to 2.5 hours of playback and only needs seven hours to fully recharge. Sony releases two new 5.1-channel Blu-ray HTIB systems, the BDV-E300 and BDV-E500W. Both home theater systems support BD-Live-capable (Profile 2.0) Blu-ray player, BRAVIA Sync technology, and Sony’s Digital Media Port to easily control Apple’s iPod and Sony’s Walkman line. The Sony BDV-E500W features an integrated S-AIR wireless audio capabilities that allows you to place your rear speakers in the room wirelessly.
