
Buffalo has introduced a new wireless mouse to its range called the BSMBW03H. Coming in a 6-button design, this compact mouse features a 2.4GHz radio frequency (works up to 10 meters), a HyperBlueLED sensor, a 1000/1200dpi resolution (switchable) and a tiny USB receiver. Powered by two AAA batteries, the BSMBW03H will start shipping from late November for 5,080 Yen (about $66) in six different color options: black, white, red, blue, silver and champagne gold. Buffalo will launch two new USB 3.0 external HDDs in October 2011. Known as the MiniStation Extreme and DriveStation Axis Velocity, both external HDDs support a 256-bit AES hardware encryption to protect your important data. The MiniStation Extreme is a durable external HDD that features a unique wrap-around USB cable, a rugged chassis and shock protection bumpers. The DriveStation Axis Velocity is an easy-to-use external HDD that features a high speed 7200RPM hard drive and an optional 256-bit AES hardware encryption. Buffalo Japan today launched a new ultra-slim USB 2.0 portable DVD drive, the DVSM-PC58U2V. Powered by the USB port, this slim portable DVD drive supports an 8x DVD+/-R read/write speed. Buffalo has just added a new Network Attached Storage (NAS) device to its LinkStation series by announcing the LS-WSX2.0TL/R1. Specs-wise, the device is equipped with two 1TB 2.5-inch hard drives set in RAID 0 for a total of 2TB of storage space, Gigabit Ethernet and a USB 2.0 port, and can be used as a DLNA or iTunes server, as well as for BitTorrent downloads and data backup.
