Buffalo has decided to launch the TeraStation TS-8VH24TL/R6 Network Attached Storage (NAS) in the Japanese market. The device can hold 8x 3TB hard disk drives, providing up to 24TB of storage space. The TeraStation TS-8VH24TL/R6 supports a 1.66GHz dual core Intel Atom D510 processor, RAID 6 setup, DLNA and BitTorrent. The company will release this 24TB NAS for 500,000 Yen or around $6,192. The Buffalo LS-XL Series is a combination of a USB/FireWire external HDD and a NAS. The storage device can be accessed via USB, FireWire, Gigabit Ethernet, or outside your network thanks to its DDNS service support. Buffalo Japan has rolled out the DVR-1C/500G digital video recorder that comes equipped with a 500GB hard disk. The device provides a USB port for connecting an external hard disk drive to add more recording time. FYI, the 500GB HDD is able to record up to 81-hour of digital terrestrial broadcasting. Buffalo is about to launch another portable hard drive in Japan called the MiniStation HD-PCT1TU2. Coming in 1TB capacity, the drive features a glossy enclosure (white or black), a USB 2.0 connection interface and is bundled with software for power management, data backup and encryption. Buffalo has rolled out a new keyboard in Japan. What makes the Buffalo Slim Keyboard special is that it measures at only 19mm thick (0.75-inch). This input device draws its power from a USB port.
