
Buffalo has decided to launch a new wireless router in Japan. The Buffalo WZR-HP-G450H offers a maximum data speed of 450Mbps and a VPN direct access via a USB key. What makes this wireless special is that it is able to function as a NAS thanks to its USB HDD support. Buffalo Kokuyo will release a new USB Bluetooth 3.0+EDR dongle in Japan. Known as the BSHSBD05BK, the device comes with a maximum effective distance radius of 100 meters with a 0.5mW/MHz output. Buffalo is preparing to drop their newest portable BDXL-compatible Blu-ray writer ‘BRXL-PC6U2′ for the Japanese market. Measuring only 145mm x 153mm x 19mm and weighing just 349 grams, this slim drive supports for the new BDXL standard, which means it can write data on 100GB/128GB Blu-ray discs. On top of that, the drive also provides write speeds of 6x for BD-R SL/DL (single-layer/dual-layer), 4x for BD-R 3-layer/4-layer, 2x for BD-RE, 8x for DVD-R/+R/+RW, 6x for DVD-R/+R DL and DVD-RW, 5x for DVD-RAM, 24x for CD-R and 16x for CD-RW. In terms of connectivity ports, it comes with two USB 2.0 connection interfaces for ensuring a much more stable writing process. Buffalo is preparing to unleash their newest TV-friendly external hard drive ‘HD-LBU2/V’ for the Japanese market. Acting as both a video recorder and a media library, this new storage unit sports a USB 2.0 connection interface and is compatible with various kinds of USB-ready HDTVs such as Regza from Toshiba, Viera from Panasonic, Sony’s Bravia, Sharp’s Aquos as well as LG’s Infinia.
