LG has finally released there three 6x Blu-ray burners including the BE06 (pictured), GBC-H20L and GBW-H20L. All three feature SecurDisc capabilities and LightScribe technology, external USB 2.0 for BE06 for about $379.95, GBC-H20L and GBW-H20L go for about $199.95 / $279.97 as of right now. [Engadget]
Japan is now offering a good quality 6x Blu-Ray burner (SATA) for only 240€. If you want an external USB burner it wont be that much more so expect to pay about f 280€. [Akihabara]
The Toshiba Gigashot GSC-DW1 DVD burner allows you to connect a DV Cam and burn the video on a DVD disc without using PC. The burner features a USB port for connecting digital cameras and storing the photographs on a disc. The Gigashot GSC-DW1 also sports HDMI output to view the recorded content on the monitor. Samsung claims its Super-WriteMaster SH-S223 to be the fastest DVD burner in the world today. Panasonic has released their VW-BN1 DVD burner without using a computer saving the material to your Panasonic camera recorder on a 12cm disc by plugging it into your USB port and pressing a button. Panasonic will drop this burner late December in Japan.

Panasonic is coming out with a new Blu-ray burner, November 10th. The LF-PB271JD, that can burn BD-R2 50 GB disks with a 4X speed with the help of a SATA interface with a 8MB buffer. In addition, this little burner can also DVD-RAM disks as well as DVD±R DL or +RW disks. The burner is going for about $425.
