The new digital motion picture from Ikonoskop is able to record video in full High Definition resolution (1,920 x 1,080) and store those frames in individual 12-bit RAW, DNG or TIFF files. Sadly, the Ikonoskop digital motion picture camera only supports 80GB memory cartridges which is enough to store only 12 minutes of high definition video. Samsung Korea has released the VM-HMX20 HD flash-based camcorder that features a 6.4MP CMOS sensor and electronic image stabilization. The camcorder supports a full HD and a 1080p mode with 30 fps recording capability and able to record fast motion at 300 frames per second for up to 10 seconds and then drastically slow down the playback of the recording. Samsung’s proprietary swivel hand-grip makes this video recorder to record in multiple angles, including regular and low-angle shots.
