Kodak will release the new Zi8 HD ultra-portable camcorder in September 2009. As a successor to the Zi6 and the Zx1, the new Zi8 comes with a larger 2.5-inch LCD, a face recognition, an image stabilization, and a 1080p HD recording. Two new camcorders have been introduced by Panasonic today in the form of the Panasonic HDC-TM350 and TM30. The former comes with a 64GB HDD, meanwhile the latter has a 32GB HDD. Weighing at 227grams, the Panasonic TM30 is the lightest camcorder of its kind in the industry. It has a 1/6-inch CMOS sensor (2.1MP), a 16x zoom and 2ch sound support.
