Second Generation of Creative Vado HD Pocket Camcorder

You can now pre-order the second generation Vado HD pocket camcorder from Creative. The gadget comes with new Vado Central for Mac OS X, which will feature video transferring and direct to iMovie importing of Vado videos. The new Vado Central will be available for download in early September and is compatible with all previous Vado and Vado HD models. The second generation of Vado HD is available in two new color combinations, a 4GB glossy white with green accents, which holds up to 60 minutes of video and an 8GB glossy black with red accents, which holds up to 120 minutes of video. Kodak will release the new Zi8 HD ultra-portable camcorder in September 2009. As a successor to the Zi6 and the Zx1, the new Zi8 comes with a larger 2.5-inch LCD, a face recognition, an image stabilization, and a 1080p HD recording. Users can also upload pictures directly to YouTube and Facebook. In addition, the camcorder has a flip-out USB arm for connection to a computer. Samsung SMX-K40 and SMX-K45 Camcorders

Samsung will launch the Samsung SMX-K40 and SMX-K45 entry-level camcorders in August 2009. Both video recorders can record up to 720 x 480 resolution and feature 65x “Intelli-Zoom” (52x optical zoom) lenses, a 2.7-inch LCD screen, upload-to-YouTube functionality, optical image stabilization to capture the moment perfectly even if your hands are shaking, and a HDMI port to connect to your HDTV.
