
Panasonic has added a new color for its HDC-SD9 and the HDC-HD9 camcorders. These two video cameras support the AVCHD codec, Full HD Video at 17Mbps, a face recognition system for video, an improved LSI for Crystal clear video/pictures and the support of the 24p for cinema like video. The HDC-HS9 offers 60GB of hard disk drive, meanwhile the HDC-SD9 utilities SD Card. AgfaPhoto is dropping a new SDHC camcorder later this month known as the DV-5000Z. It comes with a 5-megapixel Micron CMOS sensor, 2.5-inch flip-out LCD, 3x optical zoom and an SD / SDHC slot to store info on. The DV-5000Z can capture clips at 1,280 x 720 (using H.264 compression) and 16-bit stereo sound. Additional features include USB connectivity, a rechargeable Li-ion and video out.
