Canon today unveiled the EOS 1D Mark IV, which is a high-speed digital SLR camera developed for professional photographers. The new camera features a 16-megapixel Canon CMOS sensor, Dual DIGIC 4 Imaging Processors, and 14-bit A/D data conversion, all at 10 frames-per-second (fps), with the widest ISO range Canon has produced to date. Canon Wordtank S500 Ultra-Light Electronic Dictionary

Canon has recently rolled out another ultra-light electronic dictionary ‘Wordtank S500′ for the Japanese market. Measuring only 75mm x 140mm x 16.3mm and weighing just 114g, the device offers a 2.4-inch color LCD screen with 320 x 240 resolution, up to 80 hours of battery life and comes preloaded with English to Japanese, Japanese to English and Japanese to Japanese for instant translation. Canon Vixia HF S11 Camcorder

Canon USA has introduced a new flagship model to its 2009 VIXIA high-definition camcorder line, the VIXIA HF S11 Dual Flash Memory camcorder. The camcorder features a Genuine Canon HD Video Lens, Canon designed and manufactured 8.59-megapixel Full HD CMOS Image Sensor and Canon DIGIC DV III Image Processor, all of which allow the camcorder to produce breathtaking video and stunning 8.0MP photos. I would like you to know that Canon has just announced a new sub-$1,000 projector in the form of the LV-7275. The entry-level XGA projector adopts 3LCD Display Technology to produce a 1024 x 768 resolution with 2,600 lumens, which is bright enough for use in a room with existing light. The LV-7275 also features DVI and VGA connectivity, RCA input, an Ethernet jack, and a 1.2X zoom lens. Other features include automatic color adjustment and whiteboard mode. Canon Releases Three New Photo Printers

Canon today announced that they will release three new photo printers later this month in the form of the PIXMA MP560, PIXMA MP490, and SELPHY CP790. The PIXMA MP560 is an all-in-one inkjet printer that features duplex printing, photo correction, and Wi-Fi connectivity. This printer has a USB port that allows direct printing. Meanwhile, the low-end PIXMA MP490 provides a slower print rate and a 1.8-inch LCD display. And finally, the SELPHY CP790 boasts a face detection capability and a host of customization tools. Canon REALiS WUX10 Mark II D and REALiS SX80 Mark II D Multimedia Projectors

Canon just released a couple of new DICOM compliant projectors that will provide a DICOM Simulation mode for compliance with the Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) Part 14 standardized display function for display of grayscale images. The Canon REALiS WUX10 Mark II D Multimedia Projector will feature a native WUXGA resolution (1920 x 1200) with a 2.30-megapixel display, while the REALiS SX80 Mark II D Multimedia Projector will have a native SXGA+ resolution (1400 x 1050) with a 1.47-megapixel display. The Canon LV-7375 features 3,500 ANSI lumens, 500:1 contrast ratio, Native XGA (1,024 x 768) resolution, DVI, RGB, S-video, and Composite. There is also a RJ-45 LAN port for an easy network connection and a 7 watt speaker system that is loud enough to fill any room with audio. Canon Kiss X3 with Full HD Video Recording

Canon has announced a new DSLR camera called Canon EOS 500D (known as Canon Rebel T1i in North American and Canon EOS Kiss X3 in Japan). This consumer level DSLR camera features a 15MP sensor and 1080p HD video recording at 20fps. Other important specs are a 3 inch LCD screen with 920,000 dot resolution and ISO sensitivity up to 12800. The Canon EOS Kiss X3 will be available in April 2009 for around $800. Canon's Spanking New Mobile Projectors

Canon has rolled out two new mobile projectors for the Japanese market. The Canon LV7375 and the Canon LV8300 come with a carrying handle. The LV7375 provides 3,500 lumens and is equipped with a 7Watts mono speaker and a 230W lamp. This projector has 1,024 × 768 resolution and a 500:1 contrast ratio. It is also able to produce 60 Inch images from the distance of 1.9 meter. Meanwhile, the Canon LV8300 boasts 3,000 lumens at 1,280 × 800 resolution. It is able to project 60 Inch images from 1.7 meter away. The LV375 and LV8300 are priced at $3,700 and $3,200, respectively. [CrunchGear]
