Canon has recently unveiled the imageFORMULA CR-80 and CR-50 compact check transports, which are perfect for teller counters, merchant desks, and other space-constrained environments. Successors to the highly regarded Canon CR-55 and CR-25, these new imageFORMULA check transports deliver sharper images resulting in better OCR (Optical Character Recognition) accuracy, through new features such as Fine Text Filtering. Canon today introduced five new portable LCD projectors in the US market including the WXGA 16:10 LV-8225 and the XGA V-7490, LV-7390, LV-7295 and LV-7290. These projectors are targeted at value-conscious users such as educators, traveling salespeople and small-business entrepreneurs.
