Canon has rolled out the Pixma iP4920 photo inkjet printer and Pixma MG5320 Wireless Photo all-in-one device. The Canon Pixma iP4920 photo inkjet printer uses the ChromaLife100 + ink system4 with five individual ink tanks, allowing the printer to produce a 4-inch x 6-inch borderless photo in approximately 20 seconds. The Pixma MG5320 Wireless Photo all-in-one device adopts the same ink system and is capable of a similar printing performance, but can additionally be used as a photocopier and a scanner. Canon has recently unveiled the imageFORMULA CR-80 and CR-50 compact check transports, which are perfect for teller counters, merchant desks, and other space-constrained environments. Successors to the highly regarded Canon CR-55 and CR-25, these new imageFORMULA check transports deliver sharper images resulting in better OCR (Optical Character Recognition) accuracy, through new features such as Fine Text Filtering. An easy-open body cover makes it simple to perform basic maintenance and error recovery tasks, such as changing the ink cartridge, clearing jams, and cleaning the scanning glass. Other features include a low ink level alarm, and a logging tool that can be used to track diagnostic information. Canon has added a new 3LCD projector to its LV series with the introduction of the LV-8320. Aimed at business and educational users, this travel-friendly projector delivers 1280 x 800 native resolution, 3000 ANSI lumens brightness and 2000:1 contrast ratio. Not to mention, it also comes with 1x 10W mono speaker and has HDMI, D-Sub, S-Video, composite, RCA audio as well as Stereo Mini Jack connectors. Canon today introduced five new portable LCD projectors in the US market including the WXGA 16:10 LV-8225 and the XGA V-7490, LV-7390, LV-7295 and LV-7290. These projectors are targeted at value-conscious users such as educators, traveling salespeople and small-business entrepreneurs. Based on LCD projection technology, Canon’s new projectors offer high brightness, long lamp and filter life, and the convenience of auto set-up functions for signal input, PC signal type, and vertical-keystone correction.
