Canon is famous for its inkjet printers. This time, the company has unveiled a new consumer class printer that supports an Ethernet connection just in case there in no local Wi-Fi network. Other features include five individual ink tanks, memory card slots, and a 2.5 inch LCD display. The printer is also able to print 4 inch x 6 inch paper within 41 seconds. Canon U.S.A has unveiled the latest PIXMA iP4600 and PIXMA iP3600 printers earlier today. The new Canon Pixma printers feature an enhanced ChromaLife100+ with a minimum one-picoliter droplet size and up to 9600 x 2400 dpi color resolution, to produce beautiful long-lasting photos (up to 300 years, with original ink and paper from canon). You can also print photos directly from a compatible digital camera or camera phone – no computer required! While both print with stunning details of 9600 x 2400 dpi, iP3600 is slightly slower at 21 ppm color (oppose to 26 ppm) and has smaller paper tray for lesser documents than its iP4600 counterpart. Canon has added two new compact printers, for printing on the go, to its expanding Selpy range, the Selphy ES3 and ES30. With a more compact design and larger LCD screens of 3.5†in ES3 and 3.0†in ES30, the printers offer Gold and Silver Easy Photo Packs for enhanced printing. The ES3 also comes with 1GB of built-in memory. The ES3 is available from the end of September priced at £189 or €239 while the ES30 is cheaper at £139 or €179. [Fareastgizmos]

Canon introduced its latest all-in-one Pixma printers on Monday, August 11, the Pixma MP480 and Pixma MP190. These printers/scanners/copyer include several new features that simplify the printing, scanning, and copying processes. The $70 Pixma MP190 has maximum resolution of 4,800×1,200dpi. It uses two ink four-color cartridges. Another MP190’s unique feature is the Z-Lid that allows you to pull the lid over thick documents. The $100 Pixma MP480 has similar features with better scanning resolution at Optical: 2400 x 4800 dpi which is 4x the MP190 version, it prints slightly faster, and it incorporates a large 1.8-inch TFT color display. Canon introduced a new 3-in-1 USB mousse with 5D, as well as a classical mousse, and a calculator. You can also send your calculator results to your computer and use as a numeric pad and has an awesome optical sensor of 1000dpi.
