Casio will launch the new G-SHOCK GB-6900 Bluetooth LE watch on March 16th, 2012 in the Japanese market. Available in red, black or white, this rugged timepiece adopts the Bluetooth LE (Low Energy) technology, which is compatible with the NEC Medias LTE N-04D and Medias PP N-01D Android smartphones. The G-SHOCK GB-6900 is able to synchronize with these Bluetooth LE-enabled smartphones, allowing users to show incoming calls, emails or SMS messages on the watch’s display. Casio has rolled out the LK-165 portable keyboard in the US market. The keyboard features a 61-key piano-style keys that light up and teach you which notes to play. The Casio LK-165 also provides up to 400 built-in tones, 150 rhythms, 110 built-in songs, 10 reverb types, a sampling function, a 3.5mm mini audio input and a USB MIDI port for class compliant MIDI operation. The Casio G-Shock GR-8900A is now available for purchase. The shock- and water resistant timepiece comes with a variety of functions such as a 1/100 second stopwatch, a countdown timer, and a mute function. The G-Shock GR-8900A adopts the Tough Solar power system that is designed to generate enough electricity to feed the LED backlights and other power-hungry functions. The collaborative watch infuses Nigel’s street style with G-Shock’s toughness to compliment and withstand his riding needs.
