It features a 2.1″ TFT display with 176×22 pixels resolution, a 1.3 megapixel camera, and supports Sprint Navigation, high speed web browsing, SMS voice and text messaging, built-in MP3 player, microSD card slot supporting up to 4GB, and music streaming. NEC Launches LiMo N705iμ Handeset

NEC presented their new LiMo N705iμ phone in Barcelona at the Mobile World Congress 2008 and now have a list of awesome specs such as a 3-inch display with 240 x 427(WQVGA) resolution and 2-megapixel camera with support for a HSDPA network and comes with 190 minutes of continuous calling. Panasonic has displayed their new VIERA phone called the P905i which is based on the LiMO platform. It features VIERA high-definition technology as well as support for a HSDPA network, a GPS function and a 2,000:1 contrast ratio and basic features such as a 5.1M camera and 3.2-inch color screen with 480 x 854 pixels. Good news for all gaming junkies that are on the go. There’s a new concept that combines a cell phone and your Sony PSP. It features a widescreen 3-inch (480 x 272) display, PSP functionality via M2 card slot, dual-slide design, and a functional gamepad. Unfortunately this is only a concept as of right now, but if it does get big which I hope it does, it’d be a hot gadget to have.

Ever wanted a phone powered by water? Well both Angstrom Power and Motorola have developed hydrogen-powered cell phones. The phones work with a Hydrogen fuel cell that extracts hydrogen from water and then extracts electrons from the hydrogen. Sounds pretty cool, hopefully these water phones make it to the store shelves eventually.

Samsung has showcased the i200 at the mobile world congress and now has specs available. The Samsung i200 features a 2.3-inch QVGA TFT display, a 2-megapixel camera, EDGE capability, 3G with HSDPA support, and Bluetooth and USB Connectivity and runs on Windows Mobile 6 standard. No price or release date is available at this time.

Yanko design has designed an awesome concept phone called the Kinetic phone. It features a sleek design and uses “oscillating weight to power a mainspring”. Talk about phones of the future. If it’s actually produced, it might take the world awhile to get used to it, but then again who knows?
