
LG has finally released several official pictures of the highly anticipated 4th Black Label Series (BL40) Chocolate. The handset will come with a 4-inch HD-LCD that supports resolutions of up to 800×345 pixels and a 21:9 aspect ratio. The Highlight is the latest entry-level smartphone from Samsung that is now available via T-Mobile. Available in fire (red and orange) and ice (almost a turquoise), the phone is also known as the Samsung SGH-T749. Measuring 4.27-inch x 2.11-inch x 0.54-inch and weighting 3.7-ounces, the handset comes jam packed with a 3-inch touchscreen display with a brilliant 16 million-color resolution, a 3-megapixel camera, a music player, stereo Bluetooth, voice dialing and commands, instant messaging and Web-based POP3 e-mail, a 2,000-contact phone book, GPS, a microSD slot (up to 16 GB), and a full HTML browser. AT&T has joined once again with Nokia to release the Nokia Surge, an entry-level S60 handset with slide-out QWERTY keyboard and 3G connectivity. The phone comes jam packed with a 2.4-inch (240 x 320) LCD display, a 2MP digital camera, A-GPS with AT&T Navigator support, and AT&T Video Share for video calls. In addition, the phone also supports a full messaging suite, including IM, SMS, MMS and email. Its JuiceCaster feature allows you to upload and share pictures and videos from the handset to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Flickr. The browser has Flash support for streaming video, and various mobile music download options such as Napster, eMusic and XM Radio.
The Nokia Surge will be available on AT&T from July 19th, 2009 for $79.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate. It will require a two-year agreement on both a voice plan (minimum $39.99) and data plan (minimum $30), which adds up to $1,759.75 over the course of the contract. More

Nokia will release its new Nokia 3720 classic rugged phone for the mass market. The handset is an IP-54 certified mobile phone that is specially designed to resist water, dust and shock. Measuring 115mm x 47mm x 15.3mm and weighing 94-grams, the phone is encased in durable materials and is entirely sealed to protect the inner electronics. Available in grey or yellow, the Nokia 3720 classic also comes with a battery cover that is locked with a screw, making for worry-free usage in wet, dusty or muddy environments. Other features include a LED flashlight, a 2.2-inch QVGA display, a 2-megapixel camera, a 20MB internal memory, a microSD card slot and a 2.5mm headphone jack. Sony Ericsson’s upcoming “Kiki” has been unveiled. The phone features a unique transparent glasslike display that allows images projected on it can be viewed from both sides of the handset. The cell phone also has a smooth surface keypad on the front, where the numbers should appear only when the phone is turned on. There is no further info about this handset. We will keep you posted. Samsung has introduced a new 3G full touchscreen mobile phone in South Korea, which is dubbed as the Haptic AMOLED. The handset provides high resolution WVGA 800×480 pixel resolution on its 3.5 inch AMOLED display. The AMOLED display also has 180-degree viewing angle, and can reduce power consumption by up to 66%. The phone also supports high-quality video formats such as H.264, MPEG4, and AC-3. Other features include “One-finger Zoom” function, T-DMB, a 5MP camera, Bluetooth, and navigation support. Samsung has released not one but four new handsets from its mid-range phones series, which is dubbed as the Samsung S6700, C5510, M2510 and M2310. The M2310 comes with only a poor VGA camera and the M2510 features a 1.3MP camera. Both of these handsets have dedicated music controls. The Samsung C5510 is a dual band 3G handset that comes equipped with a 2MP camera with fixed focus, and a 16GB of storage capacity. The Samsung S6700 is a slider with HSDPA, GPS, a 3MP camera with auto-focus and dual LED flash, and 120MB of storage space. No word on pricing so far. [Samsung via Upcoming Cell Phones]

O2 online shop has launched the Samsung i7500 Galaxy, which is claimed to be the highest-end Android device in the market today.
