
Dell has decided to release the Streak 10 Pro tablet in the Chinese market later this Summer. Powered by the Google Android Honeycomb OS, the gadget has a 10.1-inch (1280 x 800) multitouch display, a 1GHz dual core nVidia Tegra 2 processor, a 1GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel camera on the back and a front-facing 2-megapixel camera for video chat. Other specs include an SDHC card reader, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR. No word on pricing so far. [MobileBurn]

Yesterday, an official announcement was made by Hisense, one of China’s leading LCD manufacturers about one of their latest TV’s. They said their new TV’s will support DivX Plus HD which will allow viewers to watch up to 1080p HD quality videos and movies in DivX format using an MKV file container via the TV’s USB slot. This is being said to be the first DTV OEM in China to offer the DivX Plus HD feature so there is definitely good reason to be excited here. [Akihabara]

China has launched the Gemei X-100 PMP/DAP. The X-100 has 2GB of internal memory, a 2.4” QVGA screen, support for MP3, WMA, APE, FLAC, WAV, AMR audio files along with RM/RMVB, ASF, AVI, MP4, and FLV video files. Look for this simple PMP for 36€. I wish this PMP would come to the states, but that fact is still unknown. [Akihabara]

Aude of China will be launching their new 7-inch portable DVD video player called the PDVD-8028 during China Sourcing Fairs at AsiaWorld-Expo, Hong Kong. It comes with a 16:9 wide screen, support for DVB-T, analog TV, game, card reader, TV recorder and MPEG4 support, and 3 hours of playing time with the provided rechargeable lithium battery. [AVING]

The Chinese phone, LionKing 800, is said to have about 365 days stand-by time that’s about 3-5 days of talktime, which is equivalent to the Circle of Life. Looks like China is getting in on waterproof cell phones. The WP812 is one of the first waterproof phones for China. Other detailed specs as well as price have not yet been revealed so far, we’ll keep you posted. China will drop the new WIN-A608 portable media player resembling a keychain. The WIN-A608 will come with a 1.2″ OLED display, support for MTV, DMV, MPX, MP3 and WMA file formats, 6 equalizer settings, English-Chinese dictionary, E-book reader, and an integrated FM radio. There’s a new TV phone in China by Tai Xing known as the C1000. The C1000 is basically a dual SIM card phone that supports multi-channel TV. Among the main feature, the C1000 also comes with a 3.0-inch display with handwritten input, a 1.3-megapixel back camera and a 0.3-megapixel front camera, 128MB internal memory, FM radio, Bluetooth, microSD slot and support MP3/MP4 playback. $162

China should be expecting to see the Blackberry 8800 in stores near them fairly soon. So now they can reap all the benefits that us westerners take forgranted. They should consider themselves lucky however, they do have a similar phone marketed there called the Redberry, go figure.

Here is a portable media player named BM532 by Chinese company Shenzhen Bmorn. It boasts 2.0-in 260K color TFT screen and runs on an Action CTW500 chipset and can be used to play AMV videos and view GIF and JPEG photos. It features an FM player, e-book reader, USB 2.0 high-speed interface, audio recording capability, time shut-down function. The BM532 will export to countries outside China. Release dates and pricing is still unknown.
