Christie has begun shipping two of their new 3LCD projectors, the LX1200 (pictured above) and LHD700. Specs-wise, the LX1200 provides 1024 x 768 XGA resolution, 12,000 ANSI lumens brightness, 4000:1 contrast ratio and up to 3000 hours of lamp life in Eco mode. Meanwhile, the LHD700 delivers 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 7000 ANSI lumens brightness, 3000:1 contrast ratio and up to 3000 hours of lamp life. Here are two new LCD projectors from Christie, the LWU420 (pictured above) and LW555. Aimed at both educational and business markets, the LWU420 provides 1920 x 1200 Full HD resolution, 4200 ANSI lumens brightness and 1000:1 contrast ratio. Meanwhile, the LW555 only supports a native resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and offers 5500 ANSI lumens brightness and 800:1 contrast ratio. Christie has just dropped another HD professional projector called the LX500. It has 5,000 ANSI lumens, 8-bit video processing, an XGA resolution, 1,000:1 contrast ratio and DVI / 5xBNC / VGA / S-Video / composite inputs. No word on a price at the moment.
