
Colorware has announced the availability of the custom painted iPad 2. It is available with either the gloss finish or a Softouch finish. While a new ColorWare iPad 2 retails for $900 each, you also have the option to send in your iPad 2, and they will color it for $400. The rear body can be painted, as well as the Apple logo on the rear and the home button on the front. There are a total of 21 solid color options. The process is said to take four weeks whether buying a new one or sending in your own.
