Top computer manufacturer Hewlett-Packard has launched its IQ775 TouchSmart Desktop PC that sports 2GB of RAM, an 1.9GHz AMD Turion Dual-Core TL-58 processor, and NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 with 256 MB of video memory. The system also features and NTSC television tuner, a 500 GB SATA drive, a supermulti DVD burner with Lightscribe technology, 100-BaseT Ethernet, a front-panel 8-in-1 media card reader, 2 USB 2.0 ports, a four-pin IEEE 1394 (FireWire) port, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth wireless networking, S-Video and co-ax video input, and support for 5.1 surround sound. What make this PC cool is its 19 inch LCD touchsceen display. The HP IQ775 will be released in the US, Canada, Korea, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand for $1,599.

Fujitsu has rolled out the ScanSnap S300 ultra-compact scanner. Measuring at just 11.2″ x 3.7″ x 3.0″ and weighing at 3.1lbs, this gadget is touted as the “world’s smallest” color, duplex automatic document feeder (ADF) scanner. The USB 2.0 powered scanner scans at speeds of up to 8 pages per minute for single-sided documents and 16 images per minute for double-sided documents at 600dpi optical resolution. The Fujitsu ScanSnap S300 scanner will be available in November 21 for $295.

After Apple officially released Mac OS X Leopard on 26th October, some hackers have managed to hack the operating system so that PC users can install Leopard on their PC. Dailyapps.com has listed all the necessary steps (with all the required files). You just need to download a DVD disc image, burn it, patch it, install the operating system from DVD and then install a patch. Just remember that it’s illegal.

HP Japan will release its latest C8180 All in One Printer later this month. This all-in-one Printer adopts 3.5 inch liquid crystal touch screen display. Measuring 448mm × 392mm × 216mm and weighing at 11.4kg, the printer also sports USB 2.0, IEEE 802.11b/g, Ethernet and Bluetooth. HP Photosmart C8180 comes bundled with Smart for Windows Web Printing Software. Its scanner feature allows users to scan documents/ pictures at 9,600dpi. HP C8180 will be available for $6400(after conversion).

The new Fujitsu Celsius N460 workstation utilities a Core 2 Quad 6700 processor running at 2.66GHz, and the X38 Express, which is the latest Intel Chipset. The system also features an Nvidia GeForce 7300 LE, and 1GB of RAM. The company also comes with an HDD encryption security feature and offers you to choose between Windows XP or Vista Business operating system. Sony showed off its new 17-inch board PC at KES 2007. Dubbed as the VGC-LM17L, the PC has high performance speaker on both sides of the screen. Users can listen to music even if they turn off the monitor. Other features include a foldaway keyboard, touch pad, and a webcam. The VGC-LM17L will be available in the Korean market in November with the price tag of $1100.
