
Digital Storm has announced a new high-performance desktop computer in the form of the Sub-Zero Liquid Chilled System. Designed and tested over months of research by the industry’s most performance focused engineering team, the Sub-Zero Liquid Chilled System is specifically designed for enthusiasts and hardcore gamers who are driven by the pursuit of more performance and power. The Sub-Zero Liquid Chilled System configuration has a starting price of $3,899 with a quad-core Intel Core i7 950 processor, a 6GB DDR3 1600MHz memory and a 1GB nVidia GeForce GTX 460 graphics. The Thermaltake Dokker is an affordable PC mid-tower case that supports a top-mounted HDD single bay docking station. This dock allows the end-user to hot-swap a 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch SATA drive without the need for additional hardware and software. The Dokker chassis supports up to 7 installed fans and up to 10 HDDs using anti-vibration drive bays. The chassis comes jam packed with a 1300 RPM, 120-cm blue LED fan located at the rear top, while five more optional fans can be mounted on the top and back. You can also add a fan on the left side for additional graphics card cooling. The mid-tower case can also hold a huge graphics cards such as AMD’s Radeon HD 5970 (up to 12.5-inches) and radiators for water-cooled systems. Ben Lzicar has turned an empty Anheuser-Busch keg into a PC case. Ben powder-coated the beer keg with a beautiful shiny black finish, trimmed it with chrome, and loaded it with bright blue LEDs. Habey USA today introduced the WIT-1800, a compact Intel Atom-based fanless embedded PC with four mini-PCIe slots, dual SIM and 3G wireless support. The WIT-1800 is developed around Intel’s power-efficient Atom N450 and D410 processors plus ICH8M chipset. The computer features four built-in mini-PCIe slots and two on board rear accessible SIM sockets. This unique design enables the system to support two 3G mini-PCIe modules for dual 3G wireless communication as well as Wi-Fi, SSD and other mini-PCIe devices.
