The G50 Vanguard is a concept mouse that was designed to combat the causes of RSI, otherwise known as Repetitive Strain Injury. The mouse looks a bit like a globe which will allow users to spread their fingers wider over the surface of the mouse. It has a total of 11 clickable buttons which of course includes button mapping. The scroll wheel can handle both the X-axis as well as the Y-axis and is located in the thumb rest portion of the mouse. This one definitely looks like a winning idea that we doubt will stay a concept for very long. [YankoDesign]

Having a multitasking gadget available on your wrist has been a dream of many designers ever since the James Bond days. This new Mercator Personal Manager is looking to make that dream a reality even it is only a concept still. It will use holographic imaging to help people manage their day to day needs and can look after things like health check ups, appointments and shopping as well. It will feature an internal battery and AMD processor, if it ever releases that is. [TheDesignBlog]

After 100 years in business, it only makes sense that Hitachi would choose now to unveil a product like this one. This is the new Hitachi Life Microscope concept which acts as a sort of next generation pedometer. Once on your wrist, this device will be able to record every single movement you will produce and then help you analyze and make adjustments to your lifestyle. Hopefully this should help you be able to make it to 100 just like Hitachi. [Akihabara]

Saving water is something that is important to most people these days as it not only saves the environment but saves money on the water bill during this struggling economy. This new Koolhaus Concept Tap is here to help out a bit with observing your water consumption. It will measure and monitor the water volume used by each bathroom appliance, allowing you to see where you could be conserving more. Information will be displayed on the device’s built in LCD for easy reading. [BornRich]

It seems that there has been a lot of very interesting fridge concepts that have been releasing lately and this new IceCloud Fridge Concept is just one of them. It will rely on passive cooling and clay pots, where Peltier modules are used to generate thermoelectric power. Humidity is extracted from the air so natural cooling can take place as well. It will be a great space saver as well for apartment dwellers as it can levitate vertically from the wall. LCD display is included as well and we would bet our money that if it does release it will come with Wi-Fi too. [TheDesignBlog]

If you have a bad memory or would just like a better recollection of every minute detail that goes on in your life, then the new Serendip device should be of great interest to you. It is a portable device that will feature a tiny display, wireless connectivity and an integrated camera. All you need to do is go about your day while the device snaps and records everything it sees and remembers. The technology required for this one to become a reality is still way off because the way it works is much more complex than it sounds, but we think this one will be an interesting one to follow. Media centers are meant to keep things simple and keep all of your needs in one place. That is why we are having a bit of trouble figuring out this new Magic Orange concept although we do admit it will be pretty cool. It will feature four different components, including a touch screen device, a wand, a multimedia box complete with camera and a round touch pad with floating buttons. It sounds unnecessarily complicated but we imagine the possibilities here are endless. [YankoDesign]

While most people couldn’t ever give up the portability of their laptops, they could leave behind the neck problems from the less than ergonomic screen. Thankfully, someone has addressed this issue with this new concept design. This is a design for a new Ergonomic Laptop Display and it looks like it could help laptop users with sore necks immensely. It allows the screen to be raised and angled to the users liking and even featured a kickstand at the bottom to tilt the keyboard towards you just a bit. [UberGizmo]

ASUS has just released some shots of their new Immensity Concept Motherboard along with a couple of details to tease you a bit for now. The board will feature a Lucid Hydra chipset and ATI Radeon 5000 Series GPU along with some USB 3.0 ports. For storage there will be six SATA 3 Gbps ports as well as two more SATA 6Gbps ports. One of the biggest complaints about the new Apple iPad is the lack of a built in camera, but everyone expected for the third party companies to come in and release their own cameras for the iPad. Photofast is one of the first that has started working on a prototype camera, which is basically a Microsoft webcam that hooks up to the iPad’s docking port. It is expected to be available later this year, so let’s wait and see if the third party external camera releases before Apple releases one of their own. [PocketLint]
