Lenovo showcased the K42A 14.1-inch notebook PC during the China International Consumer Electronics Show 2007 in Qingdao. The laptop packs a pretty good punch for its size, featuring an Intel Core 2 Duo T7300 processor with 965PM chipset, Nvidia GeForce 8400M G graphic card and Lenovo Trust Technology(LTT) enhancing stability. Pricing and availability info are still a mystery.

Fujitsu Siemens Computers has launched a new Esprimo laptop series that are targeting the mid-range professional business user market. These notebooks are all powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo processor with the added advantage of UMTS connectivity and an excellent battery life of six hours. The ESPRIMO U9200, M9400, and D9500 come with 12.1 inch, 14.1 inch, and 15.4 inch displays, with the D9500 being marketed as a desktop replacement PC.

Here is the new Sony VAIO laptop with a Blu-ray drive. Dubbed as the Sony VAIO VGN-FZ70B, the laptop is powered by a 1.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7100 processor, 1GB memory, 160GB hard drive, and Windows Vista operating system. The VGN-FZ70B is based on the Mobile Intel PM965 Express chip set, and can take in a maximum 2GB of DDR2 memory. In addition, the laptop features NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GT GPU, three USB 2.0 ports, S-Video output, a 56kbps modem and integrated Bluetooth. The Sony VAIO VGN-FZ70B retails for approximately $2,000.

Priced at $1600, the 15.4-inch Toshiba Qosmio F45-AV412 is powered by 1.8GHz Core 2 Duo T7100 processor, 1GB Intel Turbo memory, up to 4GB RAM, 250GB hard drive, dual layer DVD burner / HD DVD, Intel X3100 graphics (256MB), webcam, wireless a/g/n, HDMI, fingerprint reader, and Windows Vista operating system. The 15.4-inch Toshiba Satellite A215 is available in two models A215-S4757 ($890) and A215-S4767 ($1250). The laptop provides dual core AMD Turion TL56/TL64 processor, ATI Radeon X1200 graphics with 319MB, and same other specs. The 17-inch Toshiba Satellite X205 S9349/S9359 boasts 2.0GHz C2D T7300 chip, 320GB hard drive, Nvidia GeForce 8700M GT graphics with 512MB DDR3 memory, HD DVD and same remaining configurations.
