Here is Dell’s latest Inspiron desktops which are designed for regular home users. The 530/531 is powered by 1.6GHz Celeron / dual core AMD Athlon 3800+ or 4400+ processor, Intel 3100 or Nvidia GeForce 7300 LE/8600GT/8300GS graphics, up to 4GB RAM, 1TB hard drive, 17-/19-inch monitor, DVD burner, and Windows Vista operating system. The 530s/531s comes jam packed with Sempron / dual core Athlon / Core 2 Duo processor, ATI Radeon X1300 128MB and same other specs. They retail for around $349.

Toshiba’s Satellite X205 is gaming machine on the go. The laptop comes jam packed with 17-inch display, nVidia GeForce 8700M GT GPU, HD-DVD and dual hard drive option. The Satellite X205 is powered by Intel “Santa Rosa” platform (PM965) and Core 2 Duo CPU. The 8700M GT GPU has 256MB GDDR3 memory and compatible with DirectX 10 games. The 17-inch screen sports a native resolution of 1440 x 900 pixel. It also support up to 4GB of RAM and provides harddrive configuration of 2 x 120GB and 2 x 160GB capacities. Other features include Dolby Home Theatre surround, built-in speakers powered by Harman Kardon with sub-woofer, Intel WiFi Link 4965AGC (802.11 a/g/n), Gigabit Ethernet, and built-in webcam/mic. LG is ready to launch a new laptop with a large widescreen in the Korean market. Dubbed as the S900-UP73K, it has a 19-inch LCD screen, 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 1GB RAM, 320GB hard drive, Nvidia GeForce 8600M GS graphics card with 256MB memory, and 802.11 a/b/g wireless. Sony VAIO CR 14.1-inch entertainment notebook series features Intel “Santa Rosa” mobile platform and “eye-popping colors and a chic design”. The laptop comes equipped with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, the Intel GM965 chipset with integrated Graphics Media Accelerator X3100, 14.1 inch widescreen display with 1280-by-800 pixel resolution, supports up to 4GB of RAM, and comes with up to 200GB hard drive. It also has a built-in DVD burner. Each Sony VAIO CR has three USB ports, ExpressCard slot, Memory Stick Duo card reader, Secure Digital slot, VGA and S-Video outputs, and Firewire port. The 5.5 pound CR features “a luxurious” glossy finish and is framed with a silver, luminous trim. Available in five colors: sangria, cosmopolitan, dove, indigo and black (matte finish), the CR notebooks will be available at the end of June starting at about $1,350.

Priced at $1,400, Toshiba’s new Tecra M8 laptop comes with a small 13.3-inch screen TruBite LCD that offers better color, contrast, and overall quality when being compared to other displays. The laptop features 1.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7100, 1GB of RAM, 120GB of storage capacity, a DVD SuperMulti, and a built-in 1.3MP webcam with microphone. It also sports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth (with Enhanced Data Rate). Its graphics card is powered by Intel and their Integrated Graphics Media Accelerator X3100.

The Toshiba Dynabook SS RX1 measures at just 19.5mm thick and comes with its shiny magnesium casing. The SS RX1 is available in three versions. It is the hard drive and optical drive where the specifications differ, the three versions come with 80GB HDD/ DVD writer, 80GB HDD/ HD-DVD drive and 64GB SSD drive/ DVD writer. Other features include 1.06 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo U7500 CPU, 1 GB RAM, Intel 945 GMS Chipset with video, 12.1 inch WXGA display (1280 x 800), Fingerprint scanner, SD card slot, and Wi-Fi connectivity. The Toshiba Dynabook SS RX1 will be available in Japan from late June with the first two models will be available for $1800 and $2054 respectively. HP introduces its new rp5700 PC. According to the company, this tree-hugging PC is 95% recyclable and uses 80% less energy than a standard desktop. You can configure the rp5700 with a variety of Intel CPUs including a 2.13GHz Core 2 Duo CPU, add up to 4GB of RAM, a LightScribe optical drive, and SATA-based hard drives. The HP rp5700 retails for $648.
