
Here is the Cowon S9 Curve PMP that will be released in the States in mid-December this year. Unfortunately, there is no word on pricing for the 8GB / 16GB versions. The highly anticipated Cowon O2 portable media player is now available in the US. The gadget comes jam packed with a 4.3 inch widescreen display (480 x 272 resolution), SD/SDHC memory card slot, JetEffect audio processing, 10-band equalizer, 720p HD video playback, support for a wide range of audio/visual codecs, audio recorder in FLAC format and PDF, Word, PowerPoint file reader. Cowon has a new Portable Media Player that supports DMB-T tuner. Known as the Cowon O2, this gadget is actually a successor of the A3. The player features some cool specs which include a 4.3inch LCD display, Electronic dictionary, up to 32GB flash memory, and SD/SDHC memory card slot. This iPod competitor is also compatible with most of popular audio and video files. Its built-in battery offers up to 18 hours of playback time for audio or up to 8 hours of playback time for video. Cowon has announced the new S9 Curve PMP. S9 features a robust 500 MHz CPU, Bluetooth connectivity, digital television tuner, media player functions and an electronic dictionary accessible via 3.3-inch AMOLED touch-screen, capable of 16 million colors. P5 allows you to experience movies, music and pictures and even work on your document easily anywhere. P5 is running on Windows CE displayed on WVGA with 800 x 480 resolution 5″ LCD touch screen. Memory of 256 DDR2, and HDD of 60 to 80 GB. On sleeping mode, it reserves the battery up to 300 hours. It has built in FM radio, and bluetooth to interact with other devices. Cowon has made both the upgraded A3 PMP official with a US release for it along with a new 80GB Q5W as well. The upgraded 80GB A3 will be in the US on May 26th for $440 and the 80GB Q5W in late June for $600. [Engadget]

Cowon has apparently thought of the consumers, so much that they made a 16GB edition of the player that is now available through JetMall. Other than that, all the specs remain the same. Just be prepared to shell out about $240 right now and join the club. [AnythingButiPod]

Cowon has just released in Korea a new version of the N3 with a wood frame made from Burl Walnut. The N3 features an Alchemy AU1250 600Mhz CPU, 7 ” touchscreen with 16.7M colors, PMP functions (audio/video/image), electronic dictionary, PIP (Picture In Picture) and a GPS system. No word on the price of for this PND (Portable Navigation Device), but unfortunately it’s a Korea-only release. [Akihabara]

Cowon has dropped their new N3 player that has GPS and a 7-inch touchscreen along with a DMB tuner, 600MHz Alchemy AU processor, dual SDHC slots (but no built-in memory),and Software that is based on Windows CE 5.0. No release dates or prices has been released to the public, but it is said to launch at the CES 2008.
