Cowon has announced the availability of its new iAUDIO 9 digital audio player. Measuring 95mm x 43mm x 8.9mm and weighing at just 40grams, the gadget features a 2-inch TFT screen with a 320×240 pixels resolution and supports most of popular multimedia files including MP3, WMA, FLAC, OGG, WAV, WMV and AVI (DviX). The Cowon iAUDIO 9 is scheduled to be released in Japan sometimes next month. The 8GB model retails for 14,800 Yen ($160), while the 16GB model is priced at 17,800 Yen ($193). Transcend has announced the availability of its MP330 digital audio player for the mass market. Available in black or white, the gadget supports a wide variety of file formats including FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec) alongside MP3, WMA, WAV, and WMA-DRM10 protected music files. What makes this music player more interesting is that it has a high signal-to-noise ratio of over 90dB, delivering superior audio output quality. Additional features include seven advanced equalizer effects, an integrated FM radio, lyrics support and a built-in USB connector. As a successor of the YP-Q1 Diamond, the gadget has a 2.4-inch QVGA display with DNSe 3.0 sound effect support, FM radio, mini games, and text viewer. LG today announced the availability of the UP3 Neon in South Korea. This player is currently available in 2GB and 4GB storage space. The gadget supports MP3, WMA and WAV file formats and FM Radio.
