Coming from Korea’s first MP3 player manufacturer, it’s quite a surprise that the MPIO MO100 design looks strikingly similar to Grundig’s MPixx 2000 that was released earlier this year. Aside from that, the gadget plays MP3, WMA, WAV, SMV, JPEG, and BMP file formats. It has a tiny 1.8-inch screen with 128 x 160 resolution and 65k colors, an FM radio and voice recording capabilities. So far only the 1GB version is available, but the 2GB and 4GB versions are to be expected soon.

According to the company site, it seems that SanDisk will upgrade its Sansa View with a 32GB capacities. Priced at $330, the gadget supports a number of codecs including, AAC, H.264, and AVI. For your info, the 16GB model retails for only $199, while the 8GB for $149.

JVC introduced its new XA-AW33 floating audio player with waterproof function at CEATEC 2007. Weighing 260grams, the gadget has special speaker designed by NXT, the UK Technology & Licensing company. It is priced at available for $170. WAtch the video after the jump.

Kenwood has updated their Media Keg digital audio players with the HD60GD9 and HD60GD9EC models. Both players have a 60GB hard drive and support unprotected AAC, MP3, WMA (DRM), and Kenwood Lossless file formats. These DAPs also offer a dual stage clear digital amp EX and Supreme EX decoder technology. Additionally, the HD60GD9EC digital audio player features a gold-plated internal frame to provide an enhanced sound quality. The gadget will be more expensive at $500 while the standard HD60GD9 retails for $475 when released in Japan next month.

Zicplay’s Microkey is probably the “world’s smallest MP3 player”. The gadget features 1GB of storage capacity in a package just 1.7 inches long and a half-inch wide, which is a slightly longer than an Apple iPod shuffle but half as wide. Weighing 18 gram (including battery), the player offers six hours of playback time with its rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Additionally, this flash based MP3 Player also sports USB 2.0 and no media software required. No word yet on pricing or availability.

The new Panasonic SV-SD950N Bluetooth D-Snap Player sports the A2DP, AVRCP, and HFP Bluetooth profiles allowing the device to control your Bluetooth-equipped stereo headset, phone, and handsfree kit in your car or office. The gadget can be recharged with either an optional dock or over USB, and will be available in September in either silver or black for somewhere around $219 with 1GB SD card.

The LG T54 is a slim mini-PMP in a shiny metal box which measures at just 54.4mm x 92.6mm x 11.5mm. The gadget comes jam packed with a 2.4-inch 260k-color TFT LCD screen, and features DMB broadcasts, with some games. Its battery lasts up to 25 hours on music playback, 5 hours on video and 4 hours tuning in to digital TV. Additionally, the LG T54 mini-PMP also plays AVI at 30fps and MP3, OGG, WMA and WAV audio files. It also supports JPG, BMP and TXT, in case you want a quiet read instead of listening to music or watching TV. Pricing info is still unknown.

JVC’s Alneo XA-S Digital Audio Player comes in two versions. The XA-S108 and XA-S208 offer 1GB and 2GB of memory respectively. Both players sports a four line OLED display that provides track details along with other information. The gadget plays MP3, WMA and WM-DRM file formats and has the favorite mode that creates a play list of the 30 most accessed music tracks. Measuring 77mm × 32mm × 18mm and weighing 37 grams, the JVC Alneo XA-S will be released in Japan for $125(1GB model) and $160(2GB model).

The Poketo DAP from Palama Japan looks more like a colorful USB stick. The gadget can playback MP3 / WMA files and has 512 MB of onboard memory. However, it lacks of a display and an expansion slot. Poketo will be available in Japan from September for $ 33.
