Dell Outs A New AMD-Based Desktop PC

Dell has come out with a new AMD-based desktop PC for the mass market. Known as the Studio XPS 7100, this powerful system is equipped with a choice of either AMD Phenom II X4 or X6 processor, an integrated ATI Radeon HD 4200 graphics card (up to Radeon HD 5870), up to 16GB RAM, up to 4TB hard drive, a DVD or Blu-ray drive, a media card reader, a USB 3.0 port, an HDMI output and a 460W power supply. Lenovo today introduced its first entry-level workstation PC in the form of the ThinkStation E20. At a starting price of $599, this affordable system is equipped with either an Intel Pentium, Core i3, Core i5 or Xeon processor, an optional Intel Core HD or NVIDIA Quadro graphics card, up to 16GB of DDR3 memory, a choice of 7,200rpm, 10,000rpm or MLC SSD storage and comes pre-loaded with Windows 7 Professional 64bit OS. Acer To Drop A New Desktop PC In Japan

Acer is set to drop a new desktop PC for the Japanese market namely the eMachines EL1832-E13. The system is equipped with an 18.5-inch 1366 x 768 widescreen LCD display, a 2.70GHz Intel Pentium E5400 CPU, a NVIDIA GeForce 7100 (integrated video) + nForce 630i chipset, a 2GB RAM, a 320GB hard drive, a DVD burner and runs on Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit OS. In terms of connectivity ports, it offers 9x USB 2.0, eSATA, HDMI, D-Sub, Gigabit Ethernet, serial port and two PS/2. Lenovo is back by bringing you their latest desktop PC namely the ThinkCentre A63. Targeted towards small-to-medium businesses, this entry-level machine comes packed with an AMD processor (Sempron, Athlon II or Phenom II), a DirectX 10 integrated graphics card, DDR3 memory, up to 1TB hard drive, eight USB ports and Windows 7 OS. Dell has dropped a new desktop PC for the mass market namely the Dell Studio XPS 8100. Powered by either an Intel Core i5 or i7 processor, the new system is equipped with either a standard ATI 4350 or Radeon HD 5770, a GeForce GT 220, GTS 240 or GTX 260 graphics card, up to 16GB RAM, up to 3TB hard drive, a 19-in-1 card reader, an optional DVD writer or Blu-ray drive, THX TruStudio PC sound and Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit. Priced at 59,850 Yen ($661), the LM-iS401S-AM features a 2GB of RAM (up to 4GB), a 500GB of HDD, an Intel G43 Express chipset, an Intel X4500 graphics card, a DVD Super Multi drive, 6 USB 2.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, and an external speaker. Meanwhile, the LM-is400S-AM-P22W comes jam packed with a 21.5-inch Iiyama LCD Full HD display (1920 x 1080), a 4GB of RAM, a 1TB of SATA II HDD, an nVidia GeForce GT220, a Blu-Ray drive, and a TV tuner. The MT770aA2X4 TYPE-SR-BDE is powered by a 2.60GHz AMD Athlon II X4 620 CPU with a 1TB of HDD, meanwhile the MT770aA2X2-BDE features a 2.9GHz AMD Athlon II X2 240 CPU with a 500GB of HDD.
