It seems that the Asus Eee Top has a new competitor. A Japanese manufacturer today introduced their new Atom-powered nettop in the form of the Kourziro KZRX1002. This mini-computer also features a 1GB of RAM, 250GB of HDD, DVD Super Multi Drive and a 19-inch LCD. Measuring 103mm x 288mm x 338mm, the Kourziro KZRX1002 retails for around 400 Euro. [Frontier]

It seems that HP is getting into low-cost computing with its Mini-Q Net PC. This entry-level mini-tower PC comes in two variants. The first one is the HP Mini-Q 2030 that features a 1.6Ghz Intel Atom Dual-Core CPU, 2GB of DDR2 RAM, 160GB SATA hard-drive (7200rpm), Dual-Layer DVD-Burner, and Microsoft Windows Vista OS. The second one is the HP Mini-Q 2020 that comes equipped with a 1.6Ghz Intel Atom Single-Core CPU with 1GB RAM and Microsoft Windows XP. Acer Japan has recently launched its new desktop PC in Japan. The Aspire L3600-A10 is an Intel powered desktop with 2.2GHz Celeron 450 CPU, and a 18.5-inch 16:9 monitor with 1366 × 768 pixels resolution. Its display screen adopts Acer’s very own ACM (Adaptive Contrast Management) that allows it to produce high contrast ratio of 10,000:1. Other features include up to 2GB memory, Intel G31 Express chipset, 160GB HDD, DVD Burner, and Windows Vista Home Premium OS. Alienware is well known for its gaming PCs and laptops. And this is good news for you. The new Area-51 750i PC is now priced at only $1,049. Hardcore gamers will be glad to hear that Lenovo has finally released the new Lenovo H210 gaming desktop that is able to run Crysis at full resolution. The H210 is priced at $399 upwards, depending on the configuration. Acer today announced the availability of its Acer ASG7700-A11 in the Japanese market. The desktop is powered by a 3.0 GHz of Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 processor with NVIDIA nForce 780i SLI chipset, a couple GeForce 9800 GTX graphic cards, 4GB of memory (up to 8GB), 1TB of SATA HDD (7,200rpm), and Blu-Ray Disc Drive. Sony has officially announced the Sony VAIO JS1, which pretty much resembles the Apple iMac.
