
The specification for the brand new Asus Eee Box B202 have been unveiled. This portable desktop will be released soon in the US. The Asus Eee Box B202 is powered by Intel Atom 1.6GHz processor, 512MB/1GB/2GB RAM, a choice of 80GB/120GB/160GB/250GB hard drive, Intel GMA 950 chipset, Gigabit Ethernet, Draft-N connectivity, Optional Bluetooth and SD/MMC/MS memory card slot. Furthermore, the Asus Eee Box B202 will be available in three configuration for the US market.

LG will be releasing two new computers known as the XPion R10MP and S10MP computers. One comes in a regular box design and the other with a Slim box. Both feature 1TB of HDD, 2GB of RAM (DDR3), an Intel Core 2 Duo E8300 CPU, an Intel P45 chipset, a Nvidia GeForce 8500G graphics card with HDMI, 512MB video memory (VRAM), a 14-in-1 card reader, and a DVD burner DVD±R/RW/DL. Sony will be releasing a new all-in-one computers called the VGC-LJ25L. It has a 2.1GHz Core 2 Duo T8100 CPU, 2GB of RAM, a 200GB hard drive, Intel’s X3100 on-board graphics, a 15.4-inch 1280 x 800 LCD display, and a “Sound Reality” audio chip with Direct Sound 3D support. Designed by Gareth Battensby, the Sync Desktop has a unique concept in integrating the PC into an office desk while remaining practical. The desk features a built in USB hub for peripherals, scanner, widescreen monitor, webcam, wireless keyboard and mouse, and storage space for CDs and stationary. No word yet on availability. Here is a long awaited photo of the new Asus Eee Box B202 desktop computer. According to Chile Hardware, it supposedly features an Intel Atom processor / 945 chipset, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, an 80GB hard drive and a Linux-based operating system. eMachine has released 2 new desktops known as the T3646 and T5254. They both feature AMD CPUs (2.2GHz Sempron LE-1250 versus the 2.1GHz dual core Athlon BE-2350), an NVIDIA 6100 graphics chipset, 1GB or 2GB of RAM, a 160GB or 320GB hard drive, DVD+R/RW SuperMulti drive, a handful of ports, a mouse, and some cases. HP has announced that they will be upgrading two new desktop computers known as the xw8600 and the xw9400. The xw8600 comes with up to two Quad-Core Intel Xeon X5482 processors and the xw9400 runs on Quad-Core AMD Opteron 2300 processors. No word on pricing for both of these, but with all these fancy features in should be about $4,000 and above. [HP]
