Acer has released an upgraded version of its Acer Predator gaming PC in Japan. The new Predator ASG7710-A41 is powered by Intel’s 3.06GHz Core i7-950 processor with a 6GB of DDR3 memory (and support up to 12GB of RAM), twin NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250 1GB video cards for extreme graphics, Acer’s G15 gaming keyboard and G9 gaming mouse. Other features include Intel’s X58 Express chipset, a 1TB 7,200rpm SATA hard-drive, a Blu-ray drive and a multi-format memory card reader. There are eleven USB 2.0 ports, two eSATA, four DVI-D outputs and two gigabit ethernet ports that are enough to get your LAN game started smoothly. Acer has rolled out two new desktops from its M-Series in the form of the ASM5800 and ASM3202. The Acer ASM5800 features a 2.83GHz Core 2 Quad Q9550 CPU with up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, up to 1TB of SATA HDD (7200rpm), a Blu-Ray disc drive, and a choice of ATI Radeon HD 4650 (1GB of VRAM) GPU or nVidia GeForce GT 230 (1.5GB of VRAM). HP Korea has released a new Pavilion desktop PC, which is known as the Pavilion Elite m9779kr. The desktop is powered by a 2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 processor with a 4GB PC3-10600 DDR3-1333 RAM, an nVidia GeForce GTS250 3D PCI-Express graphics card, and a 1TB 7200Rpm SATA HDD. Measuring only 215mm x 235mm x 69mm, the mini desktop is powered by either an Intel Intel Atom N230, N270 or N330 processor, a 1GB or 2GB RAM, and a 160GB or 320GB hard drive. The new Aspire M5800 tower comes jam packed with a 2.66GHz Core 2 Quad CPU with a 8GB of RAM, a 1.5GB GeForce GT230 graphics, a 740GB drive and a HDMI out for $800. Meanwhile, the Aspire M3800 and X3810 feature a 2.5GHz Pentium with an integrated X4500 graphics and a HDMI out. The Aspire M3800 and X3810 retails for $450 in a tower or $529 in a low-profile case.
