Another release from Panasonic today, the Lumix ZS3 digital camera that features 12x optical zoom. Available in silver, black, blue, and red, this compact camera can record HD video (1280 x 720) at 60 frames/second in AVCHD Lite format. The video can then be displayed on an HDTV via HDMI. One of the most interesting camera is the Casio EX-Z400, a 12.1MP camera with 4x optical zoom, a 28mm wide angle lens, a 3 inch LCD, the CCD-Shot image stabilizer, and a 550-shot battery. Nikon New D3x DSLR Officially Announced

Nikon today introduced the long awaited D3x DSLR camera. It is a 24.5MP(CMOS Sensor) DSLR that is able to take pictures in 6048 x 4032 resolution with the EXPEED™ Image Processing System that shoots about 5 frame per seconds, and 7 fps in DX crop mode. Priced at €6300, the camera also boasts an ISO sensitivity from 100 to 1600, expandable to 50 (Lo-1), and 6400 (Hi-2). Other features include a 3-Inch LCD screen, and HDMI output. What makes the Nikon D3x more special is that it is also compatible with Nikon’s GP-1 GPS receiver, and is able to capture up to 4400 shots per single charge of its lithium ion battery. The release date of the upcoming Panasonic Lumix DMC-G1 digital camera has been unveiled. The camera will be launched in November 2008 with the price tag of $800. The BenQ DC C1060 compact camera has been unveiled. The digital camera boasts a 10MP sensor with a 3x optical zoom, and a 2.7-inch LCD screen. The DC C1060 also offers a “Super Shake Free” system and Smile Catch. The compact camera is able to record video at 720 x 400 or 640 x 480 resolution.
