Casio has released a black version of the Exilim EX-V8 digital camera in Japan. This 8.1MP digicam features 11.8MB of internal memory, SD and SDHC support, ISO 1600, and Video recording in H.264, 30fps (a variant of Mpeg4). No word on pricing so far.

Ricoh comes back with its new Caplio RR770 digital camera that boasts of 7.16MP CCD sensor. The digicam offers 3 inch TFT LCD display with 230,000-pixel resolution, 3x optical zoom and limited scene selections. Other features include 32MB of internal memory and SD Cards slot for additional memory storage. Pricing and availability have not been announced yet.

Nikon will release its new full-frame digital SLR in Japan. Dubbed as the Nikon D3, the camera features a 12.1MP CMOS imaging sensor and can shoot at nine frames per second with AF tracking or eleven frames per second without. This new DSLR camera also supports up to ISO 6400, and is powered by a newly branded EXPEED image processor, a new 51-point AF sensor, color AF tracking, dual CF compartments, a 3-inch 922,000 pixel LCD monitor with Live View including contrast detect auto-focus, HDMI video output and a virtual horizon function. The Nikon D3 will be released on November 30, 2007.

Polaroid has announced its Polaroid T743 7MP digital camera that offers 4x wide optical zoom (28-112mm equivalent), a 3 inch LCD screen, and a 32MB internal memory plus SDHC / SD card slot. Measuring 94.5mm x 23.1mm x 55mm and weighing at around 124 grams, the T743 is able to capture still images and record movies with sound. The Polaroid T743 will be available in Japan from late November. Pricing info is still unknown.

The new Pentax K100D Super is actually an upgrade version of the popular K100D digital camera. It comes equipped with a dust removal system, supports SDM (Supersonic Drive Motor) lens and new fastest ISO speed of 3200. The new digicam is priced at around $600 (including kit lens).

Samsung has showed off its newest camcorder at KES 2007. The VM-DX10 allows users to store footage on a three-inch DVD or on the built-in 4GB of flash memory. The camcorder also boasts a 2.7-inch touch panel, 3D Noise Reduction Filter, 26x zoom, and Hyper Image Stabilizer. Available in black or white, it will be released in the Korean market next month for $763.
