
Two new DSLR cameras have been released by Mamiya. Known as the Mamiya DM22 and DM28, both cameras provide almost any photographer affordable access to a truly professional digital camera system. The Mamiya DM22 comes with a 22-megapixels of CMOS sensor, meanwhile the DM28 has a bigger 28-megapixels CMOS sensor. Unfortunately, these high-end cameras are not cheap. Canon today unveiled the EOS 1D Mark IV, which is a high-speed digital SLR camera developed for professional photographers. The new camera features a 16-megapixel Canon CMOS sensor, Dual DIGIC 4 Imaging Processors, and 14-bit A/D data conversion, all at 10 frames-per-second (fps), with the widest ISO range Canon has produced to date. Samsung today unveiled their latest Samsung TL225 digital camera that adopts dual screen technology. This 12-megapixel camera features a tiny 1.5-inch LCD screen in the front and a 3.5-inch screen at the back. The front display screen is able to show a little animation to attract the eyes of children, or a countdown timer in self-timer mode. Meanwhile, the rear LCD screen comes with the haptic feedback technology that will shake when you touch to confirm you pressed it. The Samsung TL225 is now available for $349 each. Casio just released two new cameras from its Exilim series in the form of the EX-Z280 and EX-Z33. The EX-Z280 is a 12.1-Megapixel pocket camera with a 26mm lens, a 4X optical zoom, a 35.7MB onboard memory (upgradable via SD/SDHC slot), and a 2.7-inch LCD display with 114,960 pixels. Priced at $179, this camera is also able to record 720p video.
Available in black, light pink, vivid pink, silver, and blue, the EX-Z33 provides only a 10.1 Megapixel CCD, a 3x optical zoom, a 2.5-inch LCD display with 230,400 pixels, and a 16.9MB onboard memory (expandable via SD/SDHC slot). Casio today launched another member from their Z-Series digicam. Known as the Exilim EX-Z33, this 10 Megapixel entry-level digital camera features a 3x optical zoom lens with a 2.5-inch LCD display. The camera also supports a number of other functions as found on most compact digital cameras today including Face Detection and Anti Shake Mode. The Exilim Zoom EX-Z450 is the latest addition to the Casio’s point-and-shoot camera series. It is a 12.1MP shooter that adopts Exilim Engine 4.0, a 4x optical zoom, and is capable of recording video in 720/24p. In addition, the camera also has an ISO range of 64 to 3200, a 35.7 MB of internal memory, and a new Automatic Focus mode that automatically detects the photo subject even if it is not a human face. The EX-Z450 should automatically adjust exposure and focus to best capture the non-human (or human) subject. It is also capable of high-speed burst shooting at up to 10fps at a reduced resolution. Samsung will release the CL65 digital camera that features a 12.2-megapixel image sensor with a 5x optical zoom. The camera supports DLNA to make it compatible with home entertainment devices. Bluetooth 2.0 support enables users to send photos to other devices easily. A Wi-Fi connection allows users to e-mail photos from the camera or upload photos or videos to networking sites including Facebook, Picasa and YouTube. Pentax has announced the availability of the Optio P80 and E80 wallet-friendly compact digital cameras. The Optio P80 features a 12.1 Megapixel sensor, a 4X PENTAX wide angle zoom lens with 27.5 wide angle, a 2.7-inch LCD display, PENTAX Shake Reduction (SR) technology, Face Detection, Smile Capture and ISO up to 6400. Available in three fashionable colors including Black, Pearl, and Mint, this camera is able to record 720p HD video at 30fps. On the other hand, the Pentax Optio E80 is an entry-level camera with 10 Megapixel CCD, a 3X optical zoom lens, a 2.7-inch LCD display, ISO up to 6400, and Face Detection.
