Toshiba Mobile Display has developed a 6.1-inch LCD panel with a resolution as high as 498ppi. The display provides a superb 2560×1600 pixel resolution with a 1000:1 contrast ratio, a 16.7 million colors and a 176-degree viewing angle in both the vertical and horizontal directions. Sony has introduced three new digital photo frames from its S-Frame Gift series. The Sony DPF-C1000, C800, and C70A offer WSVGA-, SVGA- and WQVGA-resolution viewing panels, respectively. These digital photo frames provide an integrated speaker, a picture slideshow mode, a clock/calendar display mode, and an energy-saving timer. The Displax Oqtopus is a portable multi-touch table that is powered by the Microsoft Windows 7. it is capable of recognizing four independent inputs on a 42-inch screen and can recognize a stylus or even a gloved finger. The Displax Overlay Multitouch is a customizable overlay that sits on your LCD or Plasma TV and turns it into a touchscreen-capable display. You can get it to fit screens from 32-inch to 108-inch. The Reflex LCD is a pressure-sensitive flexible plastic that requires zero power to retain what’s written on it and only a small watch battery to erase the screen. LG is back with Color Pop W30S display series that provides a 5ms response time with a 250 cd/m2 brightness and a 30,000:1 contrast ratio. There are basically two models W1930S and W2230S that support for resolutions of up to 1366 x 768 pixels and 1920 x 1080 pixels, respectively.
