Telson is going with 3D with their new UMPC that uses Masterimage throwing 3D images right at you without those crazy 3D glasses. Other features include a 4.3″ display at 800 x 480 resolution, 512MB RAM, a 30GB/60GB hard drive, a C7-M 1.2GHz processor, and a Windows XP operating system. LG Drops M3800S-BN / M2900S-BN Stretch Monitors in UK

LG has just released in the UK a 38-inch M3800S-BN and 29-inch M2900S-BN stretch display monitor.They feature resolutions like 1,366 x 398 and 1,366 x 480, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 9-millisecond response time and a VGA input. Both can be displayed horizontally or vertically. No word on prices, but chances are they’ll be pretty high. [Pocket-lint]

OLED Passport

OLED Passport

Samsung SDI and Bundesdruckerei from Germany have designed the OLED passport which is claimed to be completely manipulation-proof. The ePassport features a 700µm polycarbonate data page that holds an active matrix bendable 300µm OLED display. The OLED display will be able to display both video and text containing information about the passport holder. The OLED passport doesn’t require any batteries to run because it will come to life only when activated by a reader. [Gizmodo]

Seems like Asus can’t resist dropping new LCD displays all the time. So here’s yet another one called the MK241H, which is a 24-inch LCD monitor featuring a 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) resolution, a 3000:1 contrast ratio, HDMI, D-SUB, and DVD-D (HDSC) inputs, with a sweet built-in 1.3-megapixel webcam.
